Overview

The  Sway began as a way to target beginning aggressive skaters, but the comfort and performance keep the Pros coming back to them. This particular model, the USD Sway Team 57 Skates  is on clearance. So the time to get in the game has never been better. They come with the newer injection molded shell and cuff design like the V3 (stronger and more supportive than older versions).  There are several generations of Pro models now from skaters like Montre Livingston, Chris Farmer, Sagona, and more... The swag of the Sway is real.

USD Basic Dual Fit liners (removable - not heat-moldable) have more neoprene up top, for a firmer and more supportive ankle area. Fluid V Frames have small grooves that lock on tight and slide great. The Sway 57 Team comes with a flat USD 57mm 89A wheel setup, Wicked ABEC5 Bearings, and nice and large soulplates that are pre-grooved on both the back and negative sides to provide a lot of grinding surface.

Sizing Chart

GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates.
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. Great skateGreat skate for getting back into it. I wear a size 9.5 in most US shoes. Vans usually. And the 8.0 - 9.0 worked out great. I'd think with the stock liner it feels like I'm on the upper side of the range but hopefully, this helps someone with sizing. The skate itself seems well built and rolls great right out of the box. We got the new sway team 60s at the same time as these and if I were to do it again I'd also go with the 60s. But these are great and don't disappoint In the least! If these are the top of your budget I'd say go for it. You won't regret it!

Great skates for the priceI wear a US 9.5 in almost all shoes. I went with a 8.0 - 9.0 after measuring my feet at 26.35cm and reaching out to the support team at inline warehouse. Pretty snug getting them on out of the box if I'm being real. Once I had them on I could tell my toe wasn't hitting anything but they were nice and tight. Hoping things get right when they break in or I'll look into other liners. As for the actual skate. Its a great looking and feeling skate so far for someone getting into or back into the sport. If this is where your budget is for a pair of new skates I'd highly recommend these.

Great skateThese skates feel great! They were exactly what I had hoped for and would buy them again. I felt like they ran a bit small. I'm a 10.5 but had to go up to the 11-12 to feel comfortable in them.

Great skatesI’m a big fan and have loved them so far. They ran a little small for me. I normally wear a 10.5 but had to order the 11-12 for them to feel right. Highly recommend!

First Skates in 20 YearsI loved skating as a teen and spent many hours scouting out curbs and ramps with my friends. Fast forward and got these puppies, out of the blue, and they’re great right out of the box! Flexible ankle and great wide soul plate. Takes a little getting used to if you haven’t been on aggro skates in a while since styles have changed since the K2/Solomon days. Overall great skates so far and holding up to my hard knocks.

Good skates for beginners, my stepson loves them and is progressing, I currently skate the USD Sway Team and all has been well as far as their skates and as a company.

Clean and SolidFirst new skates in 20 years. The last was the soft boot TRS and I didn't really like those. I wanted something closer to the old-school Majestic 12's, but not so forward-leaning. These are nice and flat with just as much support. For under $200, these are such a great deal. The tongue on one boot keeps pulling to one side, but it's not enough to rub my ankle, just slightly annoying to fix every now and then. We'll see how they break in and hopefully, that goes away.

Good enough for beginnersThey look great. They ride decently well, however, there are a few issues I've experienced. 1. The boot is WAY too think at the toes. It makes the skate feel tight and throws off balance. If you decide to go with this skate, get a thinner boot. 2. The skates are a little on the heavy side, so it'll take some time to get used to the weight. 3. The frames aren't as durable as some I've had before. The plastic wears down slightly easier than expected. That being said, there are a lot of great things about these skates that make the purchase worthwhile overall. 1. There is TON of ankle support. The latches stay tight and are easy to unhinge, but stay secure while moving. 2. The wheel quality is slightly above average. While I enjoy a softer wheel for rolling around, the harder wheels these come with will last much longer. The bearings are smooth and reliable. 3. The soul plates, while being subtly on the softer side in comparison to higher-end ones, are wider than most other frames. This makes learning to do tricks like makio or powerslides easier to do. 4. The H blocks are pretty wide and deep. This ensures an easier time locking into a rail. Good for learning to grind. 5. The ankle cuffs have an extremely wide forward/backward range. While they aren't as negotiable as Remz for loose ankle skating, they're fine for the most part. All-in-all, I'd grade these skates around a B, if only because the price is probably roughly around $30-40 higher than what they're worth for all the setbacks they have. If you start learning to skate on these, you'll probably get your money's worth if you take the time to find the sweet spots.

Great product, but flat wheels are mehthe skates are great, came in fine and were comfy as well. Nothing much to really complain about except the wheel really. I know these are aggressive skates but I have recently just gotten back into skating and chose these because I used to skate aggressive back in my teens (I was around 14 when I stopped) now I'm 22 and coming back into it and man am I not used to flat profile wheels. I get that you get more bang for your buck with flats but it's much easier to learn with round profile wheels since it makes turning easier and you can even slightly carve and edge easier along with making learning (or in my case re-learning) cross-overs way easier compared to flats since I can lean more on my edges without the fear of falling. I suffered way more falls with these stock wheels and had to replace them after the first week, luckily enough I didn't suffer any permanent injuries (mostly just sore butts and a few bruised elbows and skin gashes haha). So buyers beware! if you're a beginner or looking to jump back into aggressive skating again and you like the black and white look of the Sway 57's (the Team IV was too white for me) you should look into getting replacement wheels, preferably a size 60mm with a round profile with 90A hardness rating. It might be a bit harder on your feet but you can also put some insoles with those built-in "air cushions" in them or those all-day insoles replacements for shoes for people with chronic foot pain problems. You can even replace the liners too if they're not up to your standards, but I find that my feet feel snug to the stock liners just fine so I think I'll keep them. I do plan on adding an aftermarket buckle though once I drill a hole through that little mark they have on the shell along with replacing the laces with better ones soon. Anyways I think that's all I wanted to get off my mind. I know it's an older model compared to the latest Sway but I bought it because of the look, I'm a big fan of contrast and I really do love black/white combo.

Comments:Great skates for the price. Definitely worth it for anyone looking to get into aggressive skating, or someone like me who has been out of the loop a few years and was needing a quick and easy back in. I've thrown new wheels and bearings on these (the ABEC 5 just weren't enough for me), and they ride great. Highly recommend these. Fit true to size and they look slick.

Comments: Totally worth the price! I transitioned to the Sway from Roces M12 and they are a lot better. Liners feel amazing, boots are not too heavy, and adjust real easy. I highly recommend these for those that prefer a wider boot, compared to a narrow one. The frames are a little bit wider which I wanted yet it feels so good grinding on the rails. I have wider feet but adding a few CM to my original measurement surely did the trick. Fits perfectly and well-made!

Comments: These sway skates are amazingly comfortable and come fully equipped with everything you need to start skating right away. Despite the h block being rather narrow on the fluid V, once you have it broken in and dialed it slides over rails and ledges effortlessly. The bearings are nothing to write home about, everything else all around great value & skate.

Comments: Got these as a gift. The recipient was over the moon happy. The skates are comfortable and led to a day of wonderful memories. They were delivered very quickly and easy to track the order. Will definitely come back tot his company for additional needs.

Comments: I'm pretty new when it comes to inline skating. Especially skating in skate parks and such. But these skates are great for beginners. I've had multiple skating sessions that's lasted 3+ hours in these and they feel great. Would buy again or easily recommend to someone else.

Comments:Inserts A really great value! Started to get back into skating earlier this year, but needed new skates; transitioned from Razors Genesys to USD. These Sway Team skates are very comfortable and you can go hours of skating without any pain or discomfort(as long as you order right size, of course). Going to take some time getting used to skating flat, usually roll anti-rockers on the frames. Will definitely be ordering from inline warehouse again!

Comments: I used to skate USDs about 15yrs ago and lost them. I started getting back into it, but I have been borrowing a friends Rollerblade. Not my style.
Make sure you order 1/2 size bigger then your shoes. I made that mistake and had to send the first order back for exchange. Once the correct size arrived, I swopped out the boot for my Senate Sinister's and took 'em for a ride.
Immediately, they felt more natural to me. The balance, weight, and surface area were much better for me than the Rollerblades. The H-block surface was wider and allowed me to balance better on top of the rails which caused longer grinds and better transitions.
These skates are light, affordable, and provide great support.

Comments: first skates in over 22 years. pretty good so far. where you put the buckle strap in, one of the skates, has gotten loose and the small metal tabs that hold it in place come out away from the skate so i feel it get loose while skating. thinking that new liners and possibly a 45 degree strap will help out because i'm scared it could eventually break off or bend really bad. i am a size 9 shoe so had to get the size 8.5-9ish, and its really snug, but has been getting better. again new liners should help. but all in all pretty happy so far.

Comments: I'm 35 and haven't been in a pair of inlines in 10 years. I threw these on and picked it right back up. I can't wait to beat them up more. They're tough and smooth. Great skates for the price and for a returning skater.

Comments: ADVICE if you find the skates fitting just a little too tight: Take the insole out and/or take off your socks! After doing this I found they fit me perfectly and now wearing them doesn't give my feet pain. The liner is very thick and wearing them without socks and even the insole still feels very comfortable. Seem like great skates, great build quality, just wish I sized up. I got the 7.0-7.5 size, and I measured my feet the way they advise you to at 25.5 cm, and I could just barely get my feet into them, but after skating a few minutes there was serious pain with my feet. I finally solved this by taking the insole out and now they feel perfect.
