An all-new D-Fender, a fender located above the first wheel blocks any goalie leg pad strap that would otherwise cause unwanted friction and reduction in mobility.
A cowlingless design now increases a goalie's angle of attack, making cross-crease pushes more efficient. In addition, the Kv72 boasts the Sensor Fit Pro Liner with Relay Memory Foam, which brings a new meaning to out-of-the-box comfort. Bake the skate to fully enjoy a custom-like fit.
Down low, Tour's Predator 9 frames keep goalies low and steady while Kemistry Guardian wheels bring performance to indoor surfaces like sport court and wood. Finally, Bevo Gold-9 Race Rated bearings are built with precision and keep goalies moving fast inside the crease.

Comments: I have played net since 1995. I have played all over the US and in Europe. I went back to inline hockey this winter and bought a new set of Bauer X700 goal skates. I found that on the Bauer the front wheel is constantly interacting with my toe ties. I was recommended these by fellow goalie and I am thoroughly impressed with the skate, with some exceptions. First, What I like: The fit is perfect. I haven't even baked these and they feel great. No insoles needed. The skate is solid and very comfortable. Even playing back to back games, I get no fatigue in my ankles or my feet. They look awesome. The Toe-guard is the single best invention in the history of inline goaltending. I can use my toe ties without worrying about getting them wrapped up in the front wheel every play. And now onto what's wrong: The wheels didn't even last a season (20 games) on sport court. They are splitting down the center. Apparently, you can't buy replacement wheels (Kemistry Guardian), so I am forced to find another brand. They are symmetrical risers on the boot. I would FAR prefer to see an asymmetrical design to facilitate the deep butterfly ready stance with additional padding on the inside, upper edge.I have recommended these to multiple tendies across the world and everyone agrees that the Tour Volt KV72 is the go-to inline goal skate for those of us who prefer toe ties/elastics.
