Cut Protection Level

This is the general level of protection against cuts.
- Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
- Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
- Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

The Tacki Mac Patrick Kane Pro Ribbed Stick Grip is the exact same grip that Patrick Kane has been using since 2007, and now you can own one too! It features a ribbed design with a minimum butt end and the grip itself is thinner than Tacki Mac's other grips. Unlike standard hockey tape, Tacki Mac Grips help to prolong the lifespan of your hockey glove palms. The grip is 7.5" in length including the butt end.

| Tacki Mac Grips may either come with water-activated or solvent-activated tape. Please read the packaging instructions to see which method you need to use for installation. | |
| Water-Activated Tape: Step 1. Starting with a clean stick end and removing any previous tape, remove the backing from both sides of the double-sided tape that is included. Apply tape to the stick's butt end, overhanging the end of the stick by 1/4". Fold overhanging end down to lay flat on the stick's butt end. Step 2. Mix 2-3 drops of mild liquid soap with hot water in a container. Pour the hot water mixture over the tape and rub your index finger over it to activate the adhesive. Do not use a grease-fighting soap like Dawn as this will ruin the glue on the tape. Step 3. Slide your Tacki Mac Grip over the butt end and allow 20 minutes for the tape to set up before use. | |
