Overview
The Sonic Universal Extender 8mm Round Axle is a center-threaded replacement axle for most inline skate frames that use a two-piece 8mm axles. It's also a perfect replacement axle for skaters who have removed their brake mounts and need a shorter axle.
The Sonic 8mm Round Extender axle should work for you as long as your axles don't have unique head shapes, like those on the Ground Control Sickle Axles. But even then, they often work great. The Rollerblade 2.0 Alu Axle is always out of stock and fits a lot of models (Macroblade, Maxxum, etc...). Those have a unique head shape as well, but these work GREAT! They do not countersink to be flush with those frames, but snug right up to it and secure perfectly and securely.
Like other Sonic Extender Axles, you can thread partially for wider frames or thread more completely for narrower frames. Sonic axles stay tight without threadlock, saving time and money later since there's no need to reapply!
