The ShotBlocker XT Shorty Hockey Skate Shot Blockers are an ideal choice for the player who wants a minimalistic, low-profile foot protector. Designed to protect the top of your foot all the way up to your lower ankle, these are a great choice for players who wear their shin guards over the top of their skate tongue. Built with a high-impact resin that is molded into an energy-absorbing thermal polymer material, nasty injuries from blocked shots or slashes are reduced, and it is built to last longer than your skates.
They also seamlessly integrate with your hockey skate laces, letting you play as if nothing was added to the skate. Weighing only 25 grams per skate, players can still skate with speed while the middle hinge allows for complete stride mechanics. | Step 1 | Unlace the skate completely and start lacing from the 1st (bottom) eyelet, feeding your lace through the first set of holes on the XT Shorty Blocker. |
| Step 2 | Continue to lace up to the 4th eyelet, feeding your lace through the second set of holes on the XT Shorty Blocker. |
| Step 3 | Continue to lace normally behind the XT Shorty. |
| Step 4 | You are ready to block shots! |
