ExcellentExcellent protection. I remove the cup after each use and wash the jock delicate cycle and dry with low heat. The supporter is as good as new.
Best In ClassI've tried a lot of jock pants where the cup is built in, and they work fine if you're on a budget where every dollar counts. If you want the best in protection though, this is it for several reasons. First, the elastic straps on this jock are a cut above. They don't easily get twisted up while putting it on, and they don't "bacon up" after a few washes. Second, it holds the cup flush against the body to minimize bulge and keeps everything compartmentalized where it should. Third, this package as IW is currently selling it includes what I believe is the best cup Shock Doctor offers as well. It's a little more rigid than the standard one that ships with their jock pants and their entry-level standard jock. This one is well worth the few extra bucks to protect the family jewels. I own 3 different models and makes of jock pants and I prefer to pair this jock with all of them rather than use the integrated pocket and cup they came with. Easily the best jock and cup on the market that I've found.
