Comments: Got my new Shock Doc Shockskin 5's right before game time but didn't realize until then that there are no velcro tabs to hold up my hockey socks! I did get to wear them during a game and they are very comfortable, kept me cool and the cup stays in place better than other Shock Doc protective supports I also own. I can say that these are designed very well. The sizing chart for this product is broken down well so I was able to get the perfect fit but I noticed that these Shockskin 5's have loose elastic around the cuff of the thighs which I didn't think I would like but probably will get used to -They are kind of like a hybird of spandex underwear and relaxed fit shorts because of the way they fit around the leg. -Did not affect performance at all. I think though the quality is great, waistband fits as expected, I really wish they had the velcro tabs and tighter fit around the cuff of thigh. Other than that they are high quality and I will probably just sew some velcro on myself to make them more practical for hockey... think they better suited w/o the velcro for Lacrosse. Heads up if that feature is important to you.
