Sherwood is applying an exclusive technology into key impact areas called VIP (Viconic Impact Protection). Known for its incredible impact dispersion properties, VIP protects the elbow joint and outer bicep against a blocked shot, heavy slash, gnarly spill against the boards, or any other hockey-related impact!
Dual-density foam, AeroFoam, and molded EVA foam constructs the rest of the Rekker Element One Hockey Elbow Pad for truly elite-level protection and coverage but with top-notch breathability and mobility too. Unique to Sherwood is their CIP Technology, which allows the floating bicep guard to adjust in length or be completely removed so players can dial in their fit and eliminate any gap in protection between the shoulder pads.
Lastly, Sherwood's COP-r29 liner adds a soft, comfortable feel while producing never-ending antimicrobial management. A copper thread woven directly into the liner provides a natural and permanent way to prevent the Element One from stinking!
