The second generation of the S-One Lifer Visor Helmet features a removable and replaceable visor that helps protect the eyes and upper face from stray limbs and debris. The Lifer Visor was designed for roller derby players who wanted visor protection without having to move into a hockey helmet. S1 took their popular and protective Lifer Helmet, figured out how to attach a visor to it, and more importantly, they made it extremely user-friendly. The tool free installation system makes it easy to add or remove the visor at any time. Circular air vents, high impact EPS foam and the optically correct visor make this lightweight, comfortable, and safe choice for protecting your head and brain!

Good helmetFinally feel safe during derby practice! I was using a cheap helmet from Amazon before and I just never felt safe enough wearing it. Double-check your head size before ordering though cause you might have a bigger head than you think lol.

Comments: Much respect to S-ONE and their continued dedication to roller derby and our community of athletes, skaters and adventurers. The S1 Lifer Visor Helmet hits the market with an intuitive design that not only supports, but directly responds to the elevated game play and adaptive styling now necessary in roller derby today.
Comments: I recently bought this helmet in mate black and I am pleasently pleased woth this product. I was very suprised with how well it fit. I ordered a medium and was unsure about it because I normally wear a small. It fits perfect with the small liner. I will defintely be looking forward to wearing this for my upcoming competive season. I bought this for roller derby.
Comments: I've worn this helmet once, and it has already been worth the price. I broke my nose a few weeks ago, and last night at scrimmage I came out of a jam with a big smeared handprint on the visor from where a girl would have hit me right in in the face. My only complaints are that I wish the visor were a little longer. I have a small head, and I still have to tilt the helmet forward quite a bit to make sure my nose is fully covered. It is also a bit tough to get the helmet covers on. It has a rubber strip for grip on the front, but you have to get it on just right starting from the back. It's fine if you're jamming, but as a pivot it's pretty tough to get the second cover on top (especially while actively skating). Other than those little things, I love it!
