Rollerblade Twister XT Men's Urban Inline Skates have an all-new fit to improve on arguably the most popular urban skates ever. Black with lime accents have them looking better than ever as well.
The Twister boot is loaded with features, starting with a modified, lighter shell from previous versions. Skate Liner Plus v-cut liners use upgraded cushioning, improving fit, breathability, and performance. The Comfort Flex Tongue uses a complex plastic outer piece with cushioned wings that facilitates support and flex. It allows for a tight, comfortable, and consistent wrap around the shin for improved control without any lace bite. Incredibly solid all-around urban skateThe Twister XT is an incredibly solid all-around urban skate. Fit perfectlyFit perfect and they run beautifully.
Scratches easilyI used to skate a lot over hills even with five wheels in the 1990s and I hadn't skate a long time since then so I bought these skates to begin skating again. When trying to do T-stop or semi-power stop, I would sometimes lose balance and fall and this scratches the skates and ruins its appearance. Maybe I need to get a flat black paint to touch it up. There are slight surface tears on the skates that can't be fixed anyway. When it gets all beat up and my skating improves and I don't fell anymore I may get a new one. The laces are difficult and I find it hard to put on and take off. I wish the price of these skates are lower. I like these skates, they are comfortable and fast!
Back into skatingThese are my first skates after almost 15 years. My first very comfortable pair were K2 soft boots, and wore them out. I did purchase a pair RB Lightning 90's before the Twister Xt's, but due to the terrible liners in those, skating around the house induced way too much pain. I even tried Nomad liners in them and it didn't help.
Fast forward a couple of weeks and second guessing my desire to inline skate again, and I purchased these Twister Xt's. These are not dramatically better than the previous ones, as the build quality seems lower, and the liners are just manageable. I can skate between 4-6 miles before my forefoot and toes can't take anymore pain. Today will be my first day skating with the above Nomad liners. Around the house, they do offer more length, and better forefoot room, but are way more voluminous than the included ones.
Everything has a tradeoff. Hopefully I don't encounter any new issues. Onto the build quality and features. These skates seem cheaper in feel and craftsmanship to the Lightning's, but they do have tech not found on those. There is a torsion box which is supposed to improve rigidity, a cooling screen and intake vents. Honestly, I can't tell if these cooling features work due to living in North Florida.
I can report that the skates are very fast, and accelerate quick enough and are very nimble. The frames, wheels, and bearings are all very high quality.
Overall, I would recommend them to people who have normal width feet. Don't believe the hearsay, and "influencers" suggesting these are for wide feet, or for those skaters needing a wide boot. RB doesn't make a "wide" boot according to their website. If I could do it over, maybe a boot really made for my semi-wide feet would have been much better.
Great urban skatesI really enjoy the Twister XTs! They’re super comfortable, responsive, and perfect for urban skating. The fit and performance exceeded my expectations - solid construction and great support all around.
Huge shoutout to Inline Warehouse as well. They’re great skate shop. I already ordered other skates from them as well and they always arrive in a brand new condition. They never disappoint. Highly recommended!
AirborneHands down worth the purchase. I just picked up rollerblading after 25 yrs and this was the perfect pick. Simply a work of art. From the rad looks to sheer comfort,these rollerblades aim to please. They hit that sweet spot between assault and flow skating. And to top it off, they are reasonably priced.
Solid skateSolid skate, feels fast and smooth. Liner has lots of padding.
One of the wheels had a small air bubble, not what I was expecting from a premium brand.
Plastic strap had different number of teeth between left and right, not a big deal, but again, not what I expected from a premium brand
Rollerblade Twister XTMost comfortable boot I have ever put on my foot, It's like putting a boot on that is already broke in. Skates are super fast and amazingly smooth, Honestly I have nothing bad to say these are hands down worth every penny. Inline Warehouse is the place to get anything inline skate related.
Amazing, not sure it can get any betterI’ve rollerbladed madly in my teens during the nineties then on and off for about 25 years :)
Now that my son is into this I decided to get a newer pair of blades as my old one (also rollerblade brand started to literally fall apart from age I suppose). I’ve searched for a couple of weeks and read bunch of reviews and ended up buying this model without even trying.
It fits me like a glove. Has a feel of a really nice pair of ice skates and performance is just out of this world. Even being rusty 45 years old I feel like a teenager again riding in these
Missing more ventilationThese skates have only one grill for ventilation bottom and it is hard boot,.
Excellent ProductThough I haven't broken them in yet, they are solid, the straps feel secure, and the ability to adjust the size is great!

Twister XTI would give it 5 stars but I've only had the skates for about 2 months. But only used them maybe 5 times. But so far these skates are awsome. Very comfortable. Fit is great, I have a normal to narrow foot so no problems there. Very Maneuverable and rolls great. I think I need more time to break in the bearings and I'm sure it will be even better.

Definitely worth the buyI was using the public skates at the skating rinks near me but after giving it a go with these I can never go back. It does take a little while to find the sweet spot for adjustments and the straps but once you get them locked in correctly it's a very comfortable ride. I did grease them shortly after purchase as well too.
Skates are the TruthJust like my review title says… these skates are something else.
Great quality but narrow fitThey felt like high quality skates, but I had to return the pair because of fit. The length was ok but was longer than expected. The width is definitely narrow. The toebox felt ok for my wide feet but there was a strong pressure point near the arch of my feet. Given that it was too narrow while also a little too long, there would be nothing I could do for fit so I traded for a different pair of skates.
Simple... great skateRecently looking for something else and I found this new version Twister XT and my search ends at the first ride...better impossible.
Everything worked out perfectMy shoe size is 9.5 buy yourself size 10 I took a risky bet that 9.5 size would be too tight I was very right had I bought my exact shoe size I'd have to return and exchange them for a size ten since I pre-calculated 9.5 would be too snug everything worked out perfect no complaints. *Buy a size up for a perfect fit.
Great SkateI’ve recently gotten back into skating and wanted to upgrade to a higher-quality skate. After going through reading a bunch of reviews I landed on the XT. I love the hard shell boot and gives a lot more stability and control doing urban skating. I’ve skated about 14 miles in two days on these and they’ve held up just great. I wear a size 10.5 and my foot fits perfectly with no pain.
Tight fitThese are excellent skates: fast, comfortable and stylish. Just be aware they have a more narrow, tight fit: I had to go one size bigger than I normally wear to avoid pain around my ankles. These may not be good for you at all if you have wide feet.
ExcellentThey are premium in every way, from performance to aesthetics. After doing much research, I decided to go with these skates, and boy I was not disappointed. I initially ordered the wrong size, exchanging was pretty painless just required patience. The first time I skated with the correct size I continued to question if I had the right size or not. You have to give them a little wearing-in but by the end of my second skate session, I knew they were perfect. Pro-Tip: for the best comfort the key is to not over-tighten, especially on top of your foot's arch, be sure you keep that loose—only worry about the ankle. I've now owned them for almost two months and have tried out all types of surfaces. From skating city streets and parks to indoor rinks, they never disappoint. Treat yourself and get them!
Online OrderingSo I live in a city where there are no shops that sell skates. This is the first pair I've had since I was a wee little kid. I had concerns of not trying them on before buying them but all measurements provided proved to be correct and the skates fit wonderfully. I have only managed to skate them in my unfinished basement as it is winter where I live and there is a ton of snow, but I couldn't be happier with them. I can't wait for summer.
Comfortable, Nimble, and QuickI roller-bladed a lot as a child and always loved it. Since I've been an adult, i've enjoyed renting blades at the rinks, but I wanted to be able to skate outside of the rinks, and decided to invest in my own pair. So far, I love these.
I have wide feet, and usually, shoes do not fit me, even when they say they are wide, so I was very skeptical about these, but when I received them, I was surprised to learn that they fit me perfectly!
Given my climate and the time of year, I haven't been able to try these outside yet, but I am very excited to get out there. I'm sure they will work great, but I'll update this review if I notice the experience changes.
I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone who is trying to get back into rollerblading. They are a dream.
Fantastic skate.I skated a lot as a teen in the 90's and decided to get back into it in my 40's. I'm impressed how far Rollerblade has come with the liner and boots.
The Hydrogen wheels give a great balance between grip and the ability to power slide in an indoor rink setting. They're super smooth as well.
The bearings are smooth and fast and give my old BSB Abec9's a run for the money.
The only gripe I have is that I wish there was a longer top strap for us guys with tree trunk calves. Just a couple inches would change everything to help larger guys like me secure them better.
Otherwise, I broke them in a bit and they got much more comfortable.
I also changed out the insole to a softer Plantar Fascitis liner for more cushion, so I'd definitely recommend that as well.
Great rollerblades however....I found these to be very sturdy, sleek and stylish. They roll incredibly smooth and fast and they're a definite upgrade to the rb cruisers I had ..however, I find that the shell is narrower than the cruiser and because of that, they are a bit uncomfortable. It would be great if the shell was a tad bit wider, other than that everything else is great.
TLDR: great blades but the shell is narrow. So if you have wide feet be wary
WIll NOT regret it!This is the best skate I've ever been in. I used to skate all the time as a kid/teenager and recently got back into it. The the hydrogen wheels and the classic black look are a perfect blend of retro appearance & modern technology. The boot is comfy, ventilated and flexible. It's like taking a childhood classic and upgrading, without losing its nostalgic touch. I can't recommend these skates enough. Contemplating buying a second pair just because I don't want to risk not having these skates. They are THAT awesome.
Price and valueDecided to get back into skating I knew I needed a solid boot so my feet wouldn't slide around. These skates are the perfect mix between aggressive in-line and leisurely everyday skating. I ordered 1 size up just in case. It's a beautiful skate with very comfortable sticky wheels and very quick. Best skate for the money IMO. Recommend Highly
Fast shipping, great exchange!Ultimately the skates are great. Inline Warehouse was great with providing the means to exchange my original order with skates that are the next size up. They provided the return shipping label and form in the original shipment. They were also quick to process the exchange. I had my skates the following week.
As far as sizing goes. If you're unsure which size to get, order half a size bigger. In my experience, I followed their sizing chart, but the skates ended up being half a size too small.
Amazing skatesfor the cityI use these skates in an urban setting, and the experience has been stellar. Rolls right over debris and obstacles. Fast as well, with great stability. I'm beginner-intermediate, and these skates made learning how to land jumps extremely easy. The boot and liner offer great support and are a tight fit (this may be a little discomforting for folks with a wider foot).
Comes with replacement laces and the highlight color really makes these pop!
Absolute dreamBeautiful skate overall. Super comfortable, smooth, fast. Excellent bearings and wheels. Can street skate, roller rink or ramps.
Top of the lineExcellent skate. Liner and closing system first rate. Very stable. Highly recommended upgrade. I am 72 and only recently took up fitness rollerblading. The difference between this skate and an entry-level skate was what I needed. The hydrogen wheels are a bonus as well.

Best skates I've owned...I've been skating for 27 years, and these Twister XT's are what I've been looking for all these years. Here's why...
1. Stability: Everyone wants skates that feel like an extension of your legs. These Twisters feel like that! Excellent energy transfer and zero frame flex (I'm 6' and 225 lbs. so that's impressive). All these years and I've FINALLY found skates that feel like part of my body! Yet the boot gives enough forward and back movement to allow for a calf flex while pushing.
2. Agility: I always felt that my old 1998 Lightnings had been the most agile skate I'd owned, but the Twisters make me feel downright nimble. I immediately found myself making split-second impulse decisions to hop curbs, jump manhole covers, sail off steps, carve up corners, sail off steps, and take chances more so than with my other skates. These suckers go exactly where you want them to and they turn on a dime.
3. Speed: My RB10's are fast, but the Twisters are the next level up without being too much. I feel released to soar in a great way. These bearings are smooth as silk and the wheels are out of this world, much outshining any wheels I've experienced previously. I roll fast enough to tackle any urban texture and sail past onlookers feeling like I'm an explorer from another planet.
On the downside... the plastic feels thin and scratches super easy, they better not split or wear through. The buckles also concern me regarding long term durability, not feeling as heavy as I think they should. Hey Rollerblade... PLEASE do not let these concerns become real problems. You have a world class urban skate here, thicker boot plastic and heavier buckles would complete the product!
All in all? I absolutely love them! You know how you wish skates could perform? Well these skates DO THAT!
Excellent shell and linerI snagged this pair because my bony ankles make it nearly impossible to get sufficient heel lock with my FR1 Deluxe Intuitions. I would say the base of the shell is about as wide, but the Twisters extend further up over my insteps, which helps to lock that heel down a bit. Now, the liners have a deep heel pocket with THICK C-pockets for your ankle. I think they're probably gel that's been stitched into the liner. After adding some J-Bars from Tognar, I'm completely locked in. I found these had a bit too much height in the toebox, but I cleared that up with some Bauer Speedplate 2.0s. I swapped my Endless 90s over right away, but the stock frames wheels and bearings all seemed great.
Not durableI've only ever skated aggressive boots and decided to give these a try. The first roll I did was 11 miles and 500ft of elevation gain. They are very fast and agile. But the plastic boot is so soft, that you can literally cut it with your fingernail. Also in the 3 days that I've used them, the inside cuff nut has started to wear the liner and I can feel it digging into my ankle.
First 80mm skates, I feel brand newI've been skating on 90/110mm Rollerblade/FR skates since 2016. They're great for wide paths, but I moved to NYC in 2020, and since then the high speed has been more of a bane than a blessing. I picked up a pair of these for the summer and it's revitalized skating for me. I love how agile they are, I feel so much safer skating in the street now. Also, the liners in these are AMAZING, a massive upgrade from the stock FR1 liners I was using before. Amazingly true to size as well--I'd always heard that the old twisters ran small, but perhaps they fixed that in this iteration. 10/10, I'm absolutely in love.
Obsessed is putting it lightlyThese skates are absolutely incredible. I ordered quite a few different skates before finding my perfect pair in the Twister XTs. I tried the Rollerblade Advantage Pro XT's (felt cheap), the Rollerblade Macroblade 80's (not supportive enough and too tight), the RB Cruisers (too wide), and the Flying Eagle F5S (I was right between sizes.) The Twisters are finally the perfect skate for my feet! They feel super stable and are smooth, easy to control, and comfortable, and they look great. I've ridden them on the rough pavement as well as smooth concrete, and they perform well on both. I can't recommend these highly enough! And for anyone wondering about sizing, I'm a female with feet measuring 26 cm x 9.6 cm and 25.7 cm x 10.2 cm. I ordered the 8/8.5 size and they fit me great. The only adjustment I had to make was taking out the insoles that came with the skate and replacing them with insoles from a pair of running shoes because the insoles that came with the skates were too narrow for my wider foot.
Best Twister skates yetI love these skates. Hands down one of the best pairs I have ever owned. Quality is in every part of this skate. The boot does scuff up a bit easier than I would like it to but has no effect on the function at all. They are not kidding when they say URBAN SKATES. I have run these through the gauntlet.
Need to go over asphalt that has not been paved since the 70s, no problem. Need to hit that narrow sidewalk with the 2-inch expansion gaps, sure you'll be fine. Have to detour down some sketchy side street in the ghetto with a nonexistent sidewalk, yeah they can even handle that in stride. The combination of these hard wheels and that shock pad in the heel makes these skates 10/10.
Best skatesI upgraded to these from the Twister Edge X and I'm glad I did. They feel much better and are a great pair of skates. Highly recommend.
FantasticI've gone through several pairs of skates looking for a solid fit. My feet measure a bit over 27.5cm and I decided to size down to a 9/9.5. I'm glad I did. The fit is fantastic. I have a pair of 2021 twisters in a 10/10.5 and the 2022s are so much nicer.
