Cut Protection Level

This is the general level of protection against cuts.
- Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
- Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
- Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

The Rollerblade Macroblade Cuff Buckles (or top buckles) with straps serve as replacements to match those found on the popular Rollerblade Macroblade Series (80, 90, 100 and 110). They are standard cuff buckles (SCB) so they are compatible with other brands and models using the same mounting method. Sold in pairs with buckles, straps, receivers, rivets, and hardware to install.
Rivets are included but a rivet tool is not. Rivet tools can be found for approximately $5 at the hardware store. Drilling or cutting away rivets to remove your old buckle is not overly difficult but may be necessary. If not wishing to purchase a tool, using screws from another buckle set is possible.
Standard Cuff Buckles (SCB). Three-point mount. Buckle mounts to the outside of the boot at two points 1.5cm apart. The receiver (or receptor) where the strap feeds into mounts on the inside of the boot at one point. SCB buckles are compatible across different brands and models using this same mounting method.
