For players who rely on quick bursts of speed and agile movements to dominate the game, this type of skate is ideal. These offer a moderately stiff boot that balances support with mobility. These these skates, you can swiftly change direction, make sudden moves and accelerate rapidly.

Cut Protection Level

This is the general level of protection against cuts.
- Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
- Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
- Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

The Rollerblade Macroblade 84 Men's Skates are a quality meets comfort skate. They make recreational skating feel effortless with a supportive structure and no break-in time necessary. New engineered mesh is as comfortable as a sock and has plenty of ventilation with padding that feels great. Sizing is easy with each pair covering a full-size range (i.e. 8.0-8.5) with footboard sizers that can reduce or add volume within. The tongue and ankle padding form around your foot and give a comfortable wrap with standard lacing, 45-degree velcro straps, and the cuff buckle.
The higher cuff provides lateral support and stability, with a good amount of flex. Low-profile aluminum frames (not removable or adjustable) help the skater balance and are very durable. 84mm 84A wheels are excellent for outdoor skating with a good amount of maneuverability and resilience to tougher conditions. Inside those wheels, SG7 bearings perform well and keep your speed at a manageable pace.
