Overview
RollerBones Day of the Dead Wheels are an excellent introductory wheel for roller derby, speed skating, and indoor sessions. At 62mm tall and 38mm wide, they provide the speed necessary to out skate the competition but maintain a narrow footprint that is easy to control. The thick tire is poured from high quality urethane and provides plenty of grip, even on slick wood floors. The wheel is supported by a nylon core that stabilizes the wheel and provides improved power and responsiveness.

Good wheels bad paint jobI'm a beginner skater learning to play derby. I appreciate that these skates are easy to roll in, yet wide enough that they provide extra stability to someone like me who isn't quite comfortable in their balance yet. The wheel itself is great. The reason I'm docking 2 stars is because the cool skeleton design, which is why I chose these wheels over others with similar size and hardness, was almost completely scraped off after only one practice! I was pretty disappointed. They need to use a better paint and/or sealant.

Comments: Absolutely LOVE everything about this wheel! I have skated on these wheels for about a year now and I prefer these wheels over any other wheels. You can't go wrong with rollerbones wheels you just CANT! This wheel is perfect for just about any surface (skate parks, sports court, wood)in my opinion. Always had the right amount of grip. Will definitely purchase these wheels again when needed!
