Overview

The Roces M12 Street Skates are the Roces Majestic 12 Skates. They were the first true aggressive street skates and a favorite of so many old-school skaters, like Jon Julio. They continue to be super popular and modeled after. People always come back to the M12 for their lightness and simply sleek streamlined functionality and look.

The shell and cuff are now made with 97% recycled polyurethane, 97% recycled polyamide soulplates, 82% recycled polyamide (15% glass fiber) frames, 100% recycled polyurethane liner padding, and 97% recycled PVS anti-rocker grind wheels. Skate feeling good that you are using items that leave a smaller carbon footprint on 'ol Mother Earth.  They then have aluminum memory buckles, Roces UFS Frames, Roces 58mm 88A Wheels, and ABEC3 Bearings. No brake.

Runs small and narrow - It is suggested to order one full size larger than your shoe size.

Sizing Chart

GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates.
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. How to Try on Inline Skates for Fit.
M12's are NOT true to size. They run a bit small and fit narrow.
Add 1.0cm to your foot measurement to determine size - More if having wide feet.
If between sizes after adding to your measurement, round up to the next largest size.

Always be aware of sizesWhen you buy skates period always be aware to buy a size up. I wear a 9 in men's shoes and forgot this rule the first time I bought Roces. This type I got the ten and they fit perfectly I wish I could wear them all the time. Huge shout out the Roces I'm 38 haven't skates in 22 to 24 years and. I am back on them! I love them!

The best classic option for serious skatersI tried a number of skates over the years, and I just couldn't recreate the experience of the 90s skates I loved so much. The UFS system on these skates allowed me to swap out the frame and add big, 100mm street wheels. I use these skates every day and they're the best pair I ever had.

Good EnoughEverything is made cheap and rapidly nowadays, the back strap ripped off the soft boot on day 3, but I'm not horribly surprised. I'll probably just stitch it back myself, because other than that the skates feel great.

Solid skate but kills my left footSkate itself is pretty solid. For the price, I can definitely recommend it. For whatever reason, mine absolutely wrecks my left heel though. Figured it was a ‘break it in' issue, but it's not resolved after multiple sessions. My feet are a 12 wide (US shoe sizes) I bought the size 13 m12 to get the extra width but they still feel extremely narrow. I even had a few teens at my local skatepark ask to try them and their (size 9 and size 10.5) even fit in the boot/liner because of how narrow it was. I will be selling my m12s soon to move to the Them 909 platform, but if you don't Have wide feet, I can recommend the m12 for sure. They're built pretty well. The only other issue is getting the buckle to seat in the groove, but that's kinda not really a downside, just me being fail.

My dream skatesI dreamed about these my whole life and finally got them 2 months ago. I usually wear M8 and picked size 9 and it is a perfect fit. Do not listen to ROCES website size chart, I spoke to them and the person that was in charge had no idea what she was saying. Just size up one size, not 3. These skates are very solid. I tried them in a bowl and on concrete ramps and of course, I fell but they have no scratches and I felt so supported! The wheels are also very good, I felt like I was in control.

Great skatesThese skates feel great, and very comfortable and the performance is there too. They do seem to run a little small, I ordered a 10 men's size and they are a bit snug but for me they feel fine. I like my skates pretty tight. Overall, great skates.

Majestic 12Great skate for the price. Hasn't changed in almost 30 years! The boot is comfortable if you order a size up from your normal shoe size. Using for bowl/vert skates.

Fits small, size up x 2I'd go further and recommend people size up 2 full sizes. I'm a woman who usually wears a size 10 (men's 8), and I sized up to a men's 10 and am so glad I did. (After conversion, shipping and duty, returning them wouldn't have made sense.) The insoles are flimsy but removable, and if you have custom orthotics, put them in. I'm still breaking them in, but so far scooting around in them is pretty comfortable. Hopefully, they'll soften up a bit around the laces so I can tighten them better, but I can already tell these will serve me well for a few years. Give these a pass if you have wide feet.

Perfect for getting into aggressive skatingThey felt a bit small at first but once the liner broke in, it fit like a glove! The only thing I wish these had was a 45 strap for a little more support, but I'm sure you could mod one on. Other than that these are amazing skates for the price.

Comments:Skated these in the late 90's and they haven't changed much since. Still a great aggressive skate and good for beginners to intermediate who don't want to drop a lot of dough. Non clunky simple skates that get the job done. Plus great wheels and bearings that get you rolling right outta the box.
From: Lucas

Comments:The skates are definitely worth buying. I have pretty large feet so mine were a bit over 3lbs, but they were still much lighter than most skates. Great for skaters who are just beginning to get serious, I recommend these skates. I've gone through a few pairs, but these are the ones I've come back to.

Comments:These blades are awesome. If your in for fast blading and rails these blades are for you. They are light weight and perfect for grabs and spins. Also they are good quality and are very portable. If you want good quality and cheap (in a good way) blades these are the blades for you.

Comments: Great all-rounder skates!
From: Eric, 10/15/20

Comments: These are my first aggressive skates! They are very comfy, way more comfy than I'm accustomed to. They take a couple hours to get broken into, but they ride really nice. The stock wheels are okay. They have been getting worn down pretty quick, but that's rollerblading. The all black look is sleek and I have gotten many compliments on them already haha. I think one of the bonus cool things about these are how much of the material is recycled. I think it was like 73% of the entirety of the skates are recycled? I love that. Still learning how to grind and my butt hurts pretty bad from falling but I'm getting the hang of it.

Comments: I could not afford ROCES back in the day, always wanted a pair. Finally got them! Very quick shipping, I was surprised how fast these skates made it to my door! Best price I found on the internet. Will definitely do business again with Inline Warehouse.
From: Silas, San Antonio, TX, 11/20/20

Comments: Great skates for the price. The interior padding is pretty thick so expect it to be very tight.
From: Anonymous, 12/9/20

Comments: Skates are super solid, best buckle on the market. Run slightly narrow but most wont notice this. Great for any level of aggressive skating.
From: Ange, Lompoc, CA, 12/12/20

Comments: Love them so far! Just got into skating. Ordered a 13 (my normal shoe size), but too small, and 14 fit perfectly. Inline Warehouse was great about the return! Great skates at a great price.
From: Matt, Provo, UT, 4/4/21

Comments: Great Skates for the price. I ended up switching out the frames for a deeper H-block (this one is pretty much straight across), but I love the boots and soles. Probably get a size up (I'm a US 13 shoe and the Roces 14s fit me snugly). Inline warehouse is great with returns, so I ordered 13 and 14 and sent the 13s back, but based on all the other reviews, you're probably pretty safe just going a size up. One of the wheels went out during a long ride, but I'm also 210 lbs. on anti-rockers, so they're probably OK for most people starting out.
From: Matt, Provo, UT, 7/7/21

Comments: Excellent construction. The boot is very hard and promotes blade straightness. The buckle is outstanding. The fit and the thick cushioned liner makes you feel like your wearing a glove. Good wheels and bearings. No wonder Roces haven't changed their original formula.
From: Carlos, Ponce, PR, 9/15/21

Comments: A solid skate. I've been skating for 5 years and these have helped a smooth addition of aggressive elements.
From: Zack, 9/16/21

Comments: Great pair of inline skates. They do run a size (give or take) small but I was aware of that and most probably are. I had a similar pair of Roces around the mid to late 90s and loved them. When my kids wanted to lean to "Rollerblade" I decided I should get a pair for myself as well. These were a no brainer. They took me back to my days of youth and my kids and I are having a blast. I did switch out the anti-rocker set up for a more traditional flat style but stuck with 54mm wheels so still no issues with grinds. If you're on the fence I would say order a size up and give them a try. In-line Warehouse has great customer service so you won't have any issues if you have questions or concerns.
