Overview

The Powerslide UBC Road Runner V2 Backpack got fresh new look and is great for the skater on the go. It uses the same Universal Bag Concept (UBC) technology to easily work the many UBC attachments on top of being able to carry your skates!

Crafted from premium nylon and PU materials, this spacious bag features a large main compartment perfect for storing clothing and gear.  Strategically padded shoulder straps and a back panel guarantee comfort and durability. Skates can be securely fixed on the outside with skate holders, and the front panel includes a hidden mesh cover for helmet storage. An extra side zipper provides convenient access to your computer and electronic parts. With a strong hook for hanging and storage, this backpack is the perfect size for training and events, combining stability, strength, and style.

Good commuter bagMy husband uses this bag for when he skates to the hockey rink. Lots of compartments and is very comfortable and fits all his gear: gloves, skates, extra pucks, tape, wallet, keys, cell phone and water bottle. The major issue is that in the photo on the product page, the skate in the pocket has the toes pointed down and the wheels are against the bag near the top next to zipper. There’s a strap where you strap in the toes. That zipper that doesn’t lock and if the wheels are next to that zipper, as you commute (re: skate), any bumps on the road make the zipper slowly unzip. Again, bc the zipper does NOT lock, the skates fall out. So he put it in a different direction (toes up near the zipper w toes strapped in) and after commuting many times on his commuter skates and having his hockey skates in the bag, it’s a lot better. Aside from that poor design choice, the bag is great.
