Don't let the weather stop you from skating with the Powerslide Torrent Inline Rain Wheels. Developed specifically for wet and rainy conditions, these wheels use a specialized rain-skating polyurethane (PU) and unique wheel preparation process to deliver maximum traction when surfaces are slick.
Built with a proprietary Wet Grip Ultra High Rebound (WG UHR) compound, Torrent Wheels feature a soft outer urethane for enhanced grip, paired with a harder inner wheel that provides speed and plenty of rebound. At the center of the wheel, a spoked DFT Core adds controlled flex, enhanced energy return, and increased grip in wet conditions. Powerslide's rain treatment system stone-grinds each Torrent wheel, enhancing surface texture for maximum grip straight out of the packaging. Switch out all wheels, or mix in with others to give you the confidence needed while skating in wet conditions.
Wheels are prepped to be rough when you get them, to gain a bit more traction in wet conditions.

Previous Feedback
Comments: 125MM Wheels with Wicked TwinCam SUS RustProof Bearings. These wheels are fantastic! They have a very smooth roll, yet grip well in the wet and dry. They feel like they're 80 durometer, yet role like they're 85/86.As a result, they absorb bumps and surface imperfections extremely well and are very comfortable over long distances. In the wet, they absolutely perform very well and matched my expectations.I was able to easily skate at 7/10 with my strides in the wet.As of today, I have not tried to push them harder under wet conditions. But, in the short periods where I did push a little more aggressively, the break-point was predictable in the wet (unlike racing wheels which break almost immediately). The cost of this enhanced functionality is about 25% slower top speeds but being able to safely skate in the wet makes this metric almost irrelevant. However, at least half of that loss is due to the lithium grease in the Wicked SUS RustProof Bearings. For the cost, perform
ance, and functionality, these wheels should definitely be in every skater's tool bin!New Year's Resolution: Significantly extend skating season (CHECK).
