Overview
The Powerslide Swell 100 3D Adapt Skates - Desert continue the ground-breaking Swell line that are loaded with cutting-edge innovations to enhance performance and provide you with a great workout. 3DAP® (Adapt) technology refers to padding that offers long-lasting comfort and durability for every day skating.
Swell boots conform closely to the feet of both men and women. The top portion is made of power knit material with welded TPU pieces. Along with a supportive cuff that includes height adjustable spacers, the boots are firm and responsive. MYFIT's 3DAP® technology is made of a PU so that it is highly resistant to breaking down over time while maintaining incredible comfort. Trinity mounting creates a channel for the wheels with a winged mount under the ball of the foot. This lowers the skate for better control on large 100mm wheels, while also enhancing power when pushing off. Powerslide Elite Frames are 3D casted and made with ADC10 grade aluminum to be reliable, stiff, and provide good energy transfer. The frame length is dependent on skate size (9.1" or 9.8") to provide the most sturdy and comfortable wheelbase to handle high speeds. All sizes come with Powerslide Swell SHR (super high rebound) 100mm 83A Wheels, Wicked ABEC9 Bearings, and HABS (height adjustable braking system) brake.

KEY TECHNOLOGIES | |
---|---|
3D Adapt Padding Replaced traditional stitching methods with multiple layers of foam padding, with casted polyurethane. Sections are instead constructed with different density PU's. A harder anatomically designed bottom shape for support, and a softer PU ankle and tongue padding for comfort. Doesn't break down like regular padding for better value and allowed for features such as integrated ventilation channels and built-in lacing. | |
Trinity X Mounting The combination of the 'along' mounting block of the boot with the 'across' mounting slot of the frame. This allows for frame adjustment both laterally (7mm) and front to back (8mm) to individual preference and/or to correct ankles from wanting to roll (pronation/supination). Trinity frames mount at three points with two off-set winged mounts under the ball of the foot that creates a channel for the wheels to lower the skate, adding stability and power at push-off. | |
HABS Height Adjustable Brake System An easy and secure brake that allows for the brake pad to adjust up and down to prolong the life of the rubber. A rear axle that is threaded at both ends allows for installation and removal of the brake with four outer screws that eliminate having to remove the axle or wheel. | |
3D Casted Frames Perfectly shaped around the wheels to optimize the space. 3D construction enhances stiffness and power transfer to offer characteristics similar to those found in CNC machined frames. |

Sizing Chart
GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES | |
---|---|
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates. | |
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position.
