Overview

The Powerslide Swell 3D Adapt 100 Skates shown here in black with red accents, perform during strenuous straight-line cross-training activity but can also navigate curves and tighter locations with good agility.

The revolutionary 3D ADAPT (3DAP) padding technology from MYFIT allows for changes in design to include integrated air vents and channels for breathability with additional cushioning at the ankle, tongue, and innersole. Made from casted polyurethane, 3DAP molds perfectly around the feet for a level of control and comfort not felt previously this seamless padding doesn't break down or lose function like traditional padding.

Other updates include semi-clear and abrasion-resistant uppers and cuff spacers that allow for the cuffs to adjust up or down to the skater's support preference. These amazing design features are built around the popular TRINITY 3-point frame mounting system which uses a winged mount under the ball of the foot that creates a channel for the wheels to lower the center of gravity, add stability, and increase power transfer.

Elite Aluminum Frames, Swell 100mm 85A Wheels, and Wicked ABEC7 bearings. The frame length changes with skate size for the best skating experience. HABS height adjustable brake included.

KEY TECHNOLOGIES
3D Adapt Padding
Replaced traditional stitching methods with multiple layers of foam padding, with casted polyurethane. Sections are instead constructed with different density PU's. A harder anatomically designed bottom shape for support, and a softer PU ankle and tongue padding for comfort. Doesn't break down like regular padding for better value and allowed for features such as integrated ventilation channels and built-in lacing.
Trinity X Mounting
The combination of the 'along' mounting block of the boot with the 'across' mounting slot of the frame. This allows for frame adjustment both laterally (7mm) and front to back (8mm) to individual preference and/or to correct ankles from wanting to roll (pronation/supination). Trinity frames mount at three points with two off-set winged mounts under the ball of the foot that creates a channel for the wheels to lower the skate, adding stability and power at push-off.
HABS Height Adjustable Brake System
An easy and secure brake that allows for the brake pad to adjust up and down to prolong the life of the rubber. A rear axle that is threaded at both ends allows for the installation and removal of the brake with four outer screws that eliminate having to remove the axle or wheel.
3D Casted Frames
Perfectly shaped around the wheels to optimize the space. 3D construction enhances stiffness and power transfer to offer characteristics similar to those found in CNC machined frames.

30 years experience, best ride yetOnly had the skates a little time. Went to an actual roller rink. The wheels and bearings were perfect, the skates go way faster than I had tested it so far. I'm a past inline marathon competitor and these feel faster than my old 5 wheel Solomon racers. So far so good, 100mm wheels are rarer but I liked the slightly smaller size better for indoor rinks. Now let's see how they are outside, but in the parking lot they were like butter

Good for relaxing around town skatesI bought these skates hoping the heat moldable boot will provide a comfortable fit on social skates with lots of turns and stops. They performed as I hoped. The wheels may be a bit softer than what I am used to and it feels like I am working harder than I expected on 100mm wheels. Relatively high weight may have contributed to that. Overall good skates for short trips.

Might be the best Swell skateTried the Swell Nite Lite and that removable liner was so squeaky inside the boot. Couldn't stand to listen to it but you can imagine how much energy is lost with that kind of movement. Swell Nite 125 I feel like the build quality on that boot is exposed by the larger wheels having so much leverage over the skate. The 100 seems just right and is still 100 dollars cheaper than the Swell Nite 125 and the build quality looks to be the same to me and I have a very detailed eye. I'm still looking around for my next skate but it's possible I settle around here.
