Overview
The Powerslide R6 Marathon Speed Skates are designed as an entry-point for skilled skaters wanting to get into the speed skating world. In other words, the R6 is perfect for advanced skaters that are outworking their cross-training skates, doing or wanting to do mostly straight-line distance skating (or marathons), but do not want to give up the comfort and feel of having support around the ankles.
Don't be surprised if you decide not to progress to a true low-cut speed boot later or end up returning back to the R6. They are made with a hand-lasted hybrid composite and glass-fiber reinforced shell with integrated liners to be lightweight, comfortable, and offer incredible responsiveness. They offer a lot of support and strength with higher cuffs and more closures (traditional lacing, 45-degree ratchet buckles, and cuff buckles) than traditional speed boots. Extruded and CNC-machined 6061 aircraft aluminum 3x125mm frames using one-piece 8mm axles. Powerslide Infinity 125mm 85A Wheels and Wicked ABEC9 bearings complete this powerful skate package, making it ideal for those who are looking to advance their game without compromising on comfort.

Sizing Chart
GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES | |
---|---|
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates. | |
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position.
