Specifications

KEY TECHNOLOGIES
Trinity X Mounting
The combination of the 'along' mounting block of the boot with the 'across' mounting slot of the frame. This allows for frame adjustment both laterally (7mm) and front to back (8mm) to individual preference and/or to correct ankles from wanting to roll (pronation/supination). Trinity frames mount at three points with two off-set winged mounts under the ball of the foot that creates a channel for the wheels to lower the skate, adding stability and power at push-off.

Excellent for entry to inline speed skatingHadn't inline nor ice skated since the 80's. Now at age 67 wanted to give it a whirl again! Carefully researched the skate possibilities (with great help from Inline Warehouse staff) and came up with these skates (for long stride stability), along with the Rollerblade Lightning 90 (for street maneuverability). Bought them both and couldn't be happier! I would rate each of them as PERFECT! The Powerslide R2's seem to run a bit snug in sizing, so go for the higher size. I'm a men's 8.5 US size and got the 42 EU size, which is just right with a thin sock. Initially, was feeling a bit of pressure around the ankle bone "points" after skating for awhile (though I'm an old wimp!), yet by getting some of those 2.5" diameter silicone rubber discs (available online) and placing them over the ankle "points" (under my socks) all is now well! Thanks MUCH Inline Warehouse staff for helping to get me "dialed in" to just the right skates for my late-in-life reentry into the FUN world of inline skating! (though properly padded-up for safety!)
