Overview

Powerslide Phuzion Radon 80 Mens Skates - Black. Phuzion models focus a lot on comfort, which is great for recreational and returning skaters. 4x80 is stable, easy, and allows for quick strides and high control. Unlike others in this category, they also have adjustable and removable frames to correct ankle roll or upgrade/change to larger and faster wheels later on (compatible with any trinity mount frame from Powerslide).

Trinity mounting is a 3-point system that adds stability and power by lowering the skate height with a winged mount under the ball of the foot. Integrated liners (not removable) are comfortable and breathable without the need for break-in. Elite Aluminum frames are strong, responsive and with Powerslide 80mm 83A (Wicked ABEC5 bearings) they are trail-ready.

Specifications

KEY TECHNOLOGIES
Trinity X Mounting
The combination of the 'along' mounting block of the boot with the 'across' mounting slot of the frame. This allows for frame adjustment both laterally (7mm) and front to back (8mm) to individual preference and/or to correct ankles from wanting to roll (pronation/supination). Trinity frames mount at three points with two off-set winged mounts under the ball of the foot that creates a channel for the wheels to lower the skate, adding stability and power at push-off.
HABS Height Adjustable Brake System
An easy and secure brake that allows for the brake pad to adjust up and down to prolong the life of the rubber. A rear axle that is threaded at both ends allows for the installation and removal of the brake with four outer screws that eliminate having to remove the axle or wheel.

Sizing Chart

GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates.
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. How to Try on Inline Skates for Fit.
FIT GUIDELINES: Use foot measurement for the most precise fit. Add .5cm to the measurement for extra room at the toe or if wider feet.

Comment:I am a woman with a D width foot and a high instep. I purchased a pair of Powerslide Phuzion Radon 80 Men's Skates. I laced them for a wide toe (go up one hole vertically) and high instep (skip a hole at mid-foot). Men's shoes/boots are theoretically made on a D last, but the toe of the Phusion is narrower than a D - it KILLED my little toes.We finally laced them skipping the bottom two holes entirely (and skipping the hole mid-foot) and they went from painful OUCH to reasonably comfortable. If your toes are the widest part of your foot, and you're a D or wider, don't lace the bottom two holes of this skate - start at the 3rd hole. At this point, a 54" lace is more than generous; I could probably use a 45" if I wanted to. (I replaced the laces they came with using Derby Laces which are waxed - they don't slip.)

Now that they don't hurt, I like them. I'm a beginner. The wheels seem rather soft (I'm not sure of their hardness rating, but I can see why people recommend rotating them after 20 or 30 hours of use.)I bought a set of Atom wheels too - I may change out to them after rotating once or twice. The ratchet strap on this skate is the easiest I've ever tried to use. The trinity mounting is interesting. I think I'll like it more as I get used to these skates. I put a D width Superfeet half insole into the skates and like the heel and arch support it provides.

Comments: The Powerslide Phuzion Radon 80's are a comfortable pair of skates for beginners. They offer good ankle support and better balance and force transfer with the tri-mount system. The toes are a bit pointed, leaving a bit of desire for more space, but that shouldn't be a problem if you get the right size. I personally would add about 1cm to your foot size when calculating which size to get.

Comments: Great skates ! So smooth and feel nice and comfortable! Definitely would buy again ! ItR0ACR122s such a good skate for a great price.
From: Alondra, United States, 10/8/20

Comments: I hadn't skated in many years and was never very good. Now my ankles aren't as strong as they used to be and my ancient bottom-of-the-line K2s aren't as much fun as I remembered. Times have changed! The Powerslide Phuzion Radon 80s got me back to skating regularly in just a few weeks. For a bargain price the adjustability of the Trinity frame instantly made me more stable. No other skate compares at this price point. Now I can skate for longer and use the inside and outside edges with great control. The Phuzion Radon 80s are comfortable and easy to break in. I've improved my balance and strengthened my legs. They quality metal frame is maneuverable, solid, and can accept larger wheels if I want them. They even come in half sizes! I should add that I ordered the wrong size, but Inline Warehouse accepted my return and sent out a replacement pair on the same day. That was great service! I couldn't be happier.

Comments: Aloha. I purchased the Powerslide Phuzion Radon 80 and there was nothing wrong with the item other than it was too small. Overall, it looked great. Unfortunately, due to the small size, my toe was begin squeezed.

Comments: Great skates for the money. Noticed frame allows for a 90mm wheel also

Comments: Love these skates! IR0ACR122m a beginner, but did a lot of research and decided to go with these because I can adjust for my severe supination. I can skate for longer periods of time without shin fatigue. Will definitely go through this site for future purchases. I will also recommend it to friends that are also starting to get involved in this fun sport!

Comments: These are the best skates that I have ever owned. I started skating over 28 years ago with inexpensive department store skates, which were fine as a kid, then I played roller hockey for a few years, but as I got older, I bought a pair of recreational skates at the local skate shop, which were great as well, but had a lot of hotspots around my ankles. With skates I always expect one skate to cause some small issue that I can just deal with - differentiate between radiating pain and soreness/rubbing. A more recent pair of $300 fitness skates seemed like a winner, but the memory foam "bear trap" strapping system caused me pain - no blisters, but lasting pain where the straps tightened at my shins. No matter how I adjusted them, I had the same issue. I figured they just needed broken in, but that wasn't the case. So after taking some time to research, I read that these skates did not need broken in, the reviews seemed very positive, and the price was right. I am so thrilled I found these! I haven't felt any hotspots yet after 50 miles of trail skating, and they are super comfortable. I generally don't skate more than 20 miles at one time, but my feet don't feel fatigued, so I could skate more if I chose to do so. I skate to cross train, so these are perfect for me as I don't do anything fancy or race, etc. Very stable, would be excellent for beginners!

Comments: Awesome skates! Top quality and I can upgrade to an 84 or 90mm wheel in the future as I progress. This was a great suggestion by the folks at Inline Warehouse

Comments: Sleek boot and fairly comfortable, I am just getting back into skating after about 8 years of not doing it and this is a fantastic set of skates to start with if you aren't a complete beginner and are willing to invest the money!
From: Brandon, Phoenix, AZ, 11/11/20

Comments: Great skates to get back into skating after a 10 year break. These boots run small and narrow. Size chart called for a 7 (which I normally am in skates) but they crunched my toes unbearably. Size 8 was perfect. Also loved being able to adjust the frame for my ankle roll. They roll smooth on trail and love that I can upgrade to 90mm wheels as my skills improve

Comments: I have had these for a few weeks and they have been a lot of fun. They seem to be high quality and very comfortable. My first pair of rollerblades in about 15 years so can't compare to anything else around now but they have been fun to learn again and haven't had any issues.
