For players who rely on quick bursts of speed and agile movements to dominate the game, this type of skate is ideal. These offer a moderately stiff boot that balances support with mobility. These these skates, you can swiftly change direction, make sudden moves and accelerate rapidly.

Cut Protection Level

This is the general level of protection against cuts.
- Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
- Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
- Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

The Powerslide Next Core 80 Skates - Black has an extremely versatile design with customizable elements to the boot and Trinity Frame Mounting which is compatible with a lot of different frame options if wanting to change later on.
The Next boots have been a staple for urban skaters to get onto the roads with a lightweight and durable shell. They have three closures to lock your feet in with standard lacing, an adjustable cuff buckle, and a velcro strap that holds your heel in place. Inside they have Basic Dual-Fit Liners that are super comfortable with MYFIT Recall memory foam that hugs your foot.
Down below they have very strong, 3D-casted ADC10 aluminum frames that use Trinity 3-point mounting. The Trinity mounting brings your foot closer to the ground which makes you feel more stable and provides better power-transfer by connecting closely to your major pressure points. Inside those frames, they hold 4x80mm Powerslide Spinner wheels and Wicked ABEC9 bearings which provide an excellent roll. A brake is not included however, they are compatible with Powerslide HABS Brake Mount SM/MD.

| Trinity X Mounting The combination of the 'along' mounting block of the boot with the 'across' mounting slot of the frame. This allows for frame adjustment both laterally (7mm) and front to back (8mm) to individual preference and/or to correct ankles from wanting to roll (pronation/supination). Trinity frames mount at three points with two off-set winged mounts under the ball of the foot that creates a channel for the wheels to lower the skate, adding stability and power at push-off. |
