The Powerslide 608 Precision Aluminum Bearing Spacers fit all standard 8mm axles. Each spacer is made of CNC machined 6061 aircraft aluminum, but there still may be some inconsistencies. All spacers (even bearings) have tolerances (differences) that are so slight they are not visible to the naked eye.

A spacer that is too wide prevents wheels from spinning freely, and too thin may result in a clicking noise when skating.  Each color spacer represents a different width to correct these issues.  Purchase individually as needed, or grab the kit so that you will be ready for anything on race day.  It likely will not affect every wheel win it happens, but one wheel not doing what it should be doing will ruin your skate day quickly.

The width for each color can be seen blow or with each color as you select above. The kit comes with 10 different sizes ranging from 9.90-10.35mm.

You need these! Here's the truth, wheels and their molds are all a little different. Each wheel cavity for the bearings will be slightly off from one another. You can't just use the same spacer for every wheel. Even so, each spacer is going to be a little different too! These spacers allow you to mix and match the perfect combo of spacing so you can get max spin with minimal rattle. Guarantee your wheel setup will be improved if you take some time to match up your wheels/bearings with the right spacer. I keep several of each size around because everytime you replace a wheel, the right combo of these things is always a little different I keep a caliper, aka a micrometer, around to help make this quick. I install a spacer with bearings and install the wheel. If there's play, I know I need a little smaller. So, you measure the spacer width with this caliper. Keep the caliper open at this size and slide other spacers in to see if one fits in that space a little easier. Once you find one, you can install the wheel with that spacer and test again. Do this until you remove the play entirely. If your wheel isn't spinning enough, you need a slightly bigger spacer. Do the same thing but with the current spacer from most recent install and look for something slightly bigger. Keep track of your spacers so you can remember the last one you eliminated and maybe try that one again and find something between the two sizes. These differences in size are very measurable with the right tool but not with your eyes. It's fractions of a millimeter here but it's very much enough to make a big difference in the quality of your ride. I'm a pretty picky and highly skilled skater so I'm always looking for the perfect balance of spacing and these spacers offer some bigger sizes and smaller ones so you can get just the right spacing.
