Playlife (USD) Reactor
Skates
5.0
Overview
The Playlife Reactor Skates are made by the same folks that bring us USD Skates, and are actually the first edition USD Sway Boots. They are comfortable, ventilated, and priced at a bargain for those on a budget.
Great for all-day skating with comfortable Basic Liners (not heat moldable) and wide and fast sliding soulplates to make grinds and slides easy. Equipped with Kizer Fluid V UFS Frames and 58mm 90A Wheels for excellent control and stability. If you are thinking this is a USD Skate, you are right. The Playlife brand is powered by Powerslide/USD, with the Reactor having many of the same components. Cost savings is achieved with its simplified boot and wheel urethane.

Sizing Chart
GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES | |
---|---|
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates. | |
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. Customer Reviews
Most comfortable affordable aggressive skates10/10 for comfortability.
Exceeding expectationsWow. This is the most bang for my buck I ever had. I have owned sway team 57 in the past. Can't tell the difference from this one. I am a size us 10.5 and the fit is perfect out of the box. The stock liner feels no different from the stock sway liner . I am an anti-rocker rider my self but the Fluid V frame makes riding flat really enjoyable since it gives me the confidence to try grinds without worrying about wheel bite. only thing I didn't quite like was the buckle so I replaced with kizer buckles.
