The Labeda Whip Wheels are the biggest innovation in roller hockey wheel technology since multi-layer urethane wheels were released over a decade ago. With the radical new EVO Spacer System that places the bearings side by side in the core without a traditional spacer, players will immediately feel a whole new level of speed, snapback, glide and grip in their game.

Compared to traditional wheels that have a large gap between the bearings, the Whip Wheels are able to concentrate power through the center of the wheel. This allows players to flex the entire wheel and not just the top part of the urethane, creating significantly more speed-promoting rebound and much better gripping power. Another key improvement of placing the bearings next to each other is preventing bearing bind, which in traditional wheels leads to significant decreases in glide and power.

For compatibility, the Whip Wheels will work on any roller hockey skate, but the EVO Spacers must be used. The EVO Spacers are not included with the wheels and Whip wheels will not work with traditional spacers. You must purchase a separate set of EVO Spacers and we highly recommend purchasing a backup set of EVO Spacers to keep in your bag.

OVERVIEW
Fit Guidelines Standard 608 bearing size
Ideal Playing Surface Sport Court, Hockey Tiles
Product Note DEK tile or similar non-hockey perforated tiles provide less wheel contact surface area. As a result, using wheels on these surfaces has less grip and will wear down quicker.
Imaging Note The small, center hub color may vary from clear to black. The large main hub will match the urethane color like the images depict.

KEY TECHNOLOGIES
EVO Spacer System
The innovative design concentrates power through the center of the wheel by placing the bearings side by side, rather than separated by a spacer. The result is more speed and stopping power through increased wheel flex, and better acceleration and glide through freer bearing spin.

Sizing Chart

HOCKEY WHEEL HARDNESS GUIDELINES
Roller hockey wheel hardness or durometer should be decided on factors like a player's weight, skill level and playing surface. The higher the durometer rating, the harder the wheel. For example, an 82A wheel is perfect for rough outdoor surfaces while a 76A wheel excels indoors. More advanced players can also benefit from harder wheels since they can utilize the extra rebound and speed.

Great wheelsAbsolutely love these wheels, the first time I tried them I noticed how well I could feel the wheel react to each and every movement I made. Our indoor rink closed down a few months back and I’ve been using them on the outdoor deck hockey court where we play roller now and they have worked just as well for me there.

Labeda whipsFast. Efficient. The Best. Can’t beat them, even from the first skate they’re snappy, fast and smooth, perfect traction in all the right places, and edges all the way through. Everything I could’ve asked for, and the price is worth it.
