Overview

K2 Uptown Inline Skates look like a sneaker, but they can do a whole lot more. A snug and responsive urban freeskate with  80mm wheels and frames that are rockerable at every wheel position simply by flipping the frame spacer. UFS mounting means they are compatible with any aggressive grinding frame.

If installing aggressive UFS frames, the souls are fast and slide great, but are not replaceable. The stock frames are strong, extruded aluminum for urban skating, but they are not meant for grinding. Comes with a brake and extra axle for its removal, 80mm 85A wheels, and TwinCam ILQ7 bearings. They are easy enough to skate by all that love their look, but their capabilities and price target intermediate and better skaters. Designed for both men and women, sized in men's sizing.

Sizing Chart

GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates.
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. How to Try on Inline Skates for Fit.

AwesomeAmazing skates! Comfortable and smooth. I was coming from K2 Fattys P and needed something a little more recreational without getting the regular skates and these are perfect. They only have slightly bigger wheels than my fatty pros but not as big as others. A lot smoother ride too. So happy with these

Unique fit, unique lookThe way they look like a typical pair of shoes atop wheels does wonders for its style, and it's quite light to wear. K2's customer support is amazing as well, as the aggressive sole plate accessory for this skate is extremely hard to find, but when I emailed them asking where it could be bought, they sent me a pair for free. Only issue is the peculiar way they're meant to be fastened: because the ankle cuff does not flex forward and back, the cuff takes on an extreme U-shape to accommodate ankle/shin movement. But in order to properly take advantage of this, the cuff strap needs to be intentionally left rather loose--I've found that for an ideal range of movement, you only want to push the strap in 2-3 clicks past the fastener. This creates a fit that's unique in how it feels loose around the ankle and most of the security comes from the laces & cross-strap going over the foot, which is something I'm still getting used to. With this in mind, if that doesn't sound like a dealbreaker to you, or is something you're willing to adjust to for the sake of a stylish boot like me, I can reccommend this skate.

Perfect for CruisingI take these out several times a week to skate for upwards of 8 miles a session. They are my favorite skate. Drop the first two lace holes and only cinch the buckle about 7 clicks and you'll find yourself cruising at pretty considerable speeds. You might be intimidated by the sensation of falling backward when you first put the wheels down, but I found it to be a pretty easy and rewarding adjustment.

Break them in before giving a reviewAt first, I thought they were going to stay stiff and weird to skate in them but after a few rides you figure out where you want your comfort of the skates. I would recommend these skates for beginners.

Awesome skatesThese are the nicest skates I have ever put on my feet. They are comfortable. They are versatile. They move fast but also allow you to maneuver well. Worth the price.

Comments: The revival of the K2 Fatty! The same classic skate from the 90s, with an updated, non-aggressive aluminum frame and 80mm wheels. (Don't worry, if you still want to get your Royale Grind on, you can switch out the frames on the new version!) They still fit like sneakers, and have a quick-lace system, so getting them on is easy. I highly recommend these skates, even if you're just a leisurely aerobic skater out crushing laps around the neighborhood. Five Stars!

Comments: These skates are amazing! I wear a eu38 in everything, but I had to buy a eu39 in these so my feet wouldn't lose circulation. I didn't lace up the last two holes, and I'm able to have full motion. They are a very supportive skate, and the wheels have plenty of grip to them. Inline warehouse was wonderful and returning was very simple.
