K2 Kids Skate Cuff Buckles with Straps I2040 & I1160
Overview
The K2 Kids Cuff Buckles with Straps were designed as replacements for K2 junior adjustable inline skates, but they use the same standard three-point mounting used across many brands and skate models. This makes for easy compatibility with any skate using the same mounting method. These being designed for junior skates, the straps are short, so they are best used with kids models. They are plastic and include the buckles, straps, receivers, rivets and hardware to install.
Rivets are included, but a rivet tool is not. A rivet tool is approximately $5 at the hardware store. If not wishing to get a tool, consider one of the many other standard three-point mount buckles that use screws. Drilling or cutting away old rivets may be needed to remove your old buckle.
Standard Three-Point Cuff Buckle (or Top Buckle) Mounting. The buckle mounts to the outside of the boot at two points 1.5cm (or 15mm) apart and the receiver (or receptor) where the strap feeds into on the inside of the boot mounts at one point. This is used on the majority of skates. Standard three-point mount cuff buckles are compatible across different brands using the same mounting.
