Cut Protection Level

This is the general level of protection against cuts.
- Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
- Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
- Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

The K2 Grid 90 Skates are one of the long-awaited hard boots from K2. All Grid models have Intuition Liners and 3-position frame mounting, with this 4x90mm setup being a popular wheel size among urban skaters. Plenty of speed and easy to cover longer distances when needed. Not liking the lace & cuff bolt colors? Extras in black are included in the box.
The Intuition™ Liners were patterned and lasted specifically for K2 shells. This is the same company that makes arguably the best skate liners on the market in Intuition Premium Liners. The nylon shell and cuff are stiff to provide incredible support once you get strapped in with metal buckles both at the cuff and 45-degree positions, and speed lacing. An air channel (Vortech) starting at the toe box helps to keep feet ventilated. The cuff includes a Flex Lock feature on the back to tailor the range of motion to preference with a just a quick turn of a screw. Strong and responsive CNC-machined 6061 aluminum frames mount (2pt 165mm spacing) to built-in aluminum blocks with 3-positions to choose from so that you can both adjust frames laterally and front to back. Shock-absorbing heel wedges help to keep your ride smooth along with energetic K2 80mm 85A Wheels with TwinCam ILQ9 Bearings. Brake included in the box.
