Overview
The Flying Eagle X5D Spectre Skates have a transparent black shell design. Out of the box, they skate with 4x90 wheels to be fast, smooth, and stable with good-length frames. Maneuverability is high but can be increased thanks to the ability to rocker the outside wheels. The Liberty Frames can also accommodate a 3x110 setup.

Sizing Chart
GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES |
|
---|---|
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates. | |
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. Customer Reviews
The cheapest inline roller blades with wizardThe x5d has a beautiful wizard frame. The liner is a disaster and the boot is not the best. But I recommended them.
Very comfortable and stableA very nice skating experience you can get from this flying eagle.
Would buy again---but needs better insolesI swapped out the insoles with some insoles from an old pair of running shoes. The original insoles are unbelievably firm and uncomfortable. The rest of the boot is fine, though Ricardo Lino swapped out the boots for intuition liners when he demoed them on his YouTube channel. I understand why, now.
I really like the rockering of the wheels. They may not be perfect wizard skates, but they're very agile for such large wheels. I have much longer wheelbase skates for inline speed skating, and these skates feel unbelievably nimble. The wheelbase is only slightly longer than my old '90s skates that I'm replacing for skating around town, recreational slalom, and some roller hockey with friends. Honestly, they're pretty good all around skates. If the wheelbase were just a half inch longer, they might better suit my all around usage with a little more stability at higher speeds. At this price, they're pretty good skates. But you'll definitely want to replace the insoles.
