Level of Play Definitions

Cut Protection Level

  • This is the general level of protection against cuts.

    • Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
    • Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
    • Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

ANSI Rated Cut Level

  • Measures the actual cut resistance of materials based on the ANSI/ISEA 105 standard.

The Flying Eagle Enkidu Skates have the F5S shell with soulplates that are optional and a boot that has 165mm mounting so that you can use them with urban frames or the UFS frames that they come with! The boots have a breezy feel to them with plenty of ventilation holes but they remain stiff and durable.  
 
Flying Eagle's liners are very nice with multi-density foam and a neoprene toe. UFS mount frames hold 4x66mm with a 90A hardness that feels smooth in the streets and parks with ABEC7 Chrome Bearings inside.
