The FR Twincam Storm SCRS Rustproof Bearings are made to handle challenging skating conditions, like skating in damp or rainy conditions. They are made to survive as they are rust-proof and dust-proof to even survive an off-road ride.
If you're skating all day and every day you are susceptible to the elements. Nordic skaters know this the most, with all-terrain skating, downhill in dirt, and even maybe some water thrown in there along the way. Although stated as 'rust-proof' by FR, we prefer to say rust-resilient. They come with 8 bearing spacers that work to align your bearings better and keep them working for longer with a consistent roll.
