Decent bag with major design flawsSo the good: The carrying method for the skates is super solid and easy to use. The small top pocket is great for all the small stuff. The laptop pocket is great and the integrated rain cover is also dope. Even the back padding is really good and thoughtfully placed but… The bad: This bag has too many major design flaws for a bag this expensive. The shoulder straps have like no padding and are super uncomfortable if you pack even slightly over a minimalist setup. The water bottle carrier is flimsy and tore within a two weeks, and was absolutely useless after a month. The side pocket opens from back to front, rather than back to front. Which is an utterly stupid design. This makes it completely inaccessible once your skates are attached without first taking the bag off and having to unbuckle one of the buckles. Also unrelated, why do almost all skate backpacks still pack outward rather than up down like a hiking backpack?
