Overview
The FR Skates FR3 80 Skates in Blue got a makeover. The V2 models have X3R rockerable frames that skate lower for better balance and stability. A perfect setup for FReestyle or FReeride skating, or whatever you want to call it as you enjoy your freedom roll.
The X3R Frames offer lower balance, better stability, and they have a great look as well. They are NOT compatible with the current short and medium 4WD Brakes (a new brake for the X3R will be out soon).
Th FR3 shell has the integrated frame mounting plates (7-holes) that enhance energy transfer and give further customization and precision with response. The boots were updated to use standard 4mm frame mounting screws so that standard allen keys can be used which is a simple, but welcomed update. Comes with two one-piece axles in the middle wheel positions and rotating rockerable axles on the outside.
The FR3 80 Skates features 80mm 85A Downtown Wheels with TwinCam M7 bearings, Drylex Memory Foam Liners that can lace to the shell, and FR logo 45-degree ratchet buckles.

Sizing Chart
GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES | |
---|---|
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates. | |
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. How to Try on Inline Skates for Fit. | |
FR liners break in with skate time to free up more room. A snug fit from the start is good. * FR is doing a running change to adjust the US size on these sizes to more closely correspond with the measurements for that size. The skate box (or tongue) may read either US size during this change, but the sizing of the skate is the same (EU, MP, and CM). |
