Overview
The FR Skates FR2 80 Skates - Light Purple is a great skate for any free-skater with customizable components like the FR1, it allows for four multiple cuff positions and frame adjustments with 7-hole energy plates. The FR2 boots come on rockerable R2 frames which gives you a lot of maneuverability. They hold a 4x80mm wheel configuration with FR Skates Downtown wheels that have an 85A hardness and FR Twincam MW7 Titalium Freeride bearings inside.
The boots have three closures with a cuff buckle, a 45-degree ratchet buckle, and standard lacing that all work together to keep your feet comfortably in place. Inside they have padded removable liners that require some time to break in with insoles as well.
No brake included.

Sizing Chart
GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES | |
---|---|
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates. | |
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. How to Try on Inline Skates for Fit. | |
FR liners break in with skate time to free up more room. A snug fit from the start is good. * FR is doing a running change to adjust the US size on these sizes to more closely correspond with the measurements for that size. The skate box (or tongue) may read either US size during this change, but the sizing of the skate is the same (EU, MP, and CM). |
