Overview
FR Skate Cuff Buckles (or top buckles) are metal for great durability. The are sold in pairs and come with buckles, receivers, and screws to install. They were made as replacements for FR Skates but use the same widely used standard (SCB) mounting to be compatible with many brands and models using this same mounting method. This makes for an easy upgrade from plastic buckles. The FR Buckles come in three sizes (shown when available - 180mm, 200mm, 220mm). The straps may be cut down if needed.
Standard Cuff Buckles (SCB). Three-point mount. Buckle mounts to the outside of the boot at two points 1.5cm apart. The receiver (or receptor) where the strap feeds into mounts on the inside of the boot at one point. SCB buckles are compatible across different brands and models using this same mounting method.
