Really comfortablei ordered these because i had the moxi beach bunnies and they were really painful to break in. i am normally a w6-6.5 in street shoes. at first i ordered the size 36 and they were too small. my toes felt like they were jamming in the front of the boot so i messaged derby warehouse and they exchanged them for the size 37. now they fot perfectly not too big for me at least. the boot is very padded and kinda bulky but after skating for a bit they become less stiff and bulky feeling. i got the blue angel color and they do get dirty easily so keep that in mind. other than that i have had to replace the laces and cushions. (but i have had them for 2 years before replacing those) the toe stop is perfect not too small like other skates and the wheels and bearings are very nice and smooth. i definitely recommend getting these if they are in your budget. the plate has a clamp style holder for the toe stop and it never becomes loose or undone unlike my moxi beach bunnies that i have to tighten very tight or they will get loose. if i could go back in time i would have gotten the purple evil though because the blue just gets so dirty but other than that i love them so much.
LoveThese are more comfortable than some boots/shoes I own! Just as much padding in the bottom as the sides. I usually wear a size 9, 9.5 in tennis shoes. I got the 41 and it’s perfect. I can wear thick socks or not with no issues.
Beautiful skatesThese skates are awesome. They are true to size. No break in time at all. I have owned so many pairs of skates and these are my new favorite. I have owned Fame sure grip, Moxi beach bunnies, Moxi lollys, and moonlight roller skates. Until recently moonlight roller were my go to skate but these Chayas are on point. Worth the money. They need to make black ones now please. lol
My go-toChaya is my go to brand, and these are by far the most comfortable out of the others I've worn. The style caught my eye first with the chunky heal and more retro style. You get quite a bit for the price. Boot is very padded which I like because I have slender feet, but not as padded and uncomfortable as some others. Size 8 shoe, 39 skate and these fit me perfect not loose or too tight like others. Easy to get on and off. Nice outdoor wheels and wicked 9 bearings. Did trade out wheels(the outdoor wheels are nice for a smooth slow cruise but too slow for a skatepark) for my Fundaes that are my go to wheel for a faster yet still smooth ride. Handles great at skateparks and just rolling around too plus they are super cute!
I LOVE theseThis is my second pair of Chayas... I almost returned the first one because I wasn't sure but I am so glad I kept them. I got these on sale and they are a step up from the other Chayas. Love the color, so comfy.
Fantastic SkatesJust got the Elite Purple Evil in today and this is my second pair of Chaya's. The sizing is perfect for me. I wear an 8.5 US women's and I wear a 40 in the Chaya. My toes are not squeezed in either the tip or sides.
The wheels rolled right out of the box but I loosened a bit more and loosened the trucks a little. Wow! I thought my Chaya Ruby Red Deluxe were great, and they are! but, these Elites turn on a dime and roll like silk. I am in my 60's and 5 months ago, I started skating again for the first time in over 45 years. I have severe arthritis in my left ankle from a triple fracture ice skating. The Chaya boot is well padded and stiff, which is good for me and my ankle. Even with the short wheelbase and 20-degree or 15-degree kingpin angle (depending on whether it's deluxe or elite), these skates are stable.
Chaya, if you're listening, all you need to do now is build a skate identical to the Elite Purple Evil in black. The same material of boot as the purple evil. Simple black. No bling; no pink; no stars. Just a simple black elite. I will buy them if you do. I need/want black skates.
secureThese are great for beginners in that it helps to feel secure and comfy in your boots. Unfortunately, the sizing was off for me, no matter all the measuring and double checking I did. I am 7.5-8 in street shoes and the size 7 are pinching my toes. Thankfully, these fit my niece perfectly (she's size W7 in street shoes) so she uses them now.
Excellent beginner skates, great quality This is my second pair of Chaya skates. I also had the Turquoise Melrose Deluxes, which I really loved! I only have one issue with their sizing. I am a size 7.5, and ordered a size 7 (ladies 8), first. Just a bit too big! So, I ordered a size 6 (ladies 7). A tad too small. If you are a half size, I suggest going with the larger size, and getting a half size toe insert to get the correct size. I would have done that with my turquoise skates, had my niece not tried them on, and fell in love with them! She is a perfect size 8, and they fit perfect for her. I ended up giving them to her, and she used them almost every day last summer. They have held up well! She hadn't worn a pair of skates before then, and they have taken a beating! So, I can attest to their quality.
Previous Feedback
Unfortunately, it seems that they're not going to hold up too well for trail skating. When skating on asphalt, I tripped on a rock, went down into a single knee slide, and drug the toe of my skate behind me. The material on the toe ripped clear through to the lining. I emailed Chaya customer support and they said they couldn't help me.
I'll be putting toe covers on the skates to keep things from tearing further, but I'm really disappointed in the quality of these skates.

Comments: I really loved this skates. The sizing is off though. I am an 8 in woman's and ordered an eu39. It was too small. I returned. The skates are really cute though. They are very padded and the padding feels like memory foam around your feet. I really recommend these skates. Just pay attention to sizing.

Comments: I actually really recommend these skates. I got these originally for myself until my moxi lolly skates and bont parkstars came in. This has AMAZING ankle support, sound structure, and comes with really good 78a wheels.
I just got the wrong size. But! My friend who's foot is half a size smaller than mine bought these from me and she LOVESSSSS them. For beginner skaters I woukd recommend chaya over just about anything. With Derby Warehouse my orders always come in quick and well packaged. I am going to get another pair of these but in a larger size. They are made out of a strong vegan material that has already held up to over 20 falls with minimal scuffing.

Comments: I was worried about sizing since this is my first pair of skates. They fit perfectly, and they were pretty comfortable in the feet! They were just as cute in person as they were in the photos. Very satisfied!

Comments: I was very fortunate to find a pair of skates in my size due to the COVID shortages. The skates are true to size; I wear a US size 8 ladies shoe and the EU 39 fits perfectly. The skates go over bumps smoothly and the it's been so fun to get out and about
