Elite-level coverage, lightweight comfort, and unrestricted mobility for high-intensity play.
For players who live in the battles and refuse to sacrifice mobility, the CCM Tacks XR Pro Shoulder Pads deliver elite-level protection in a lightweight, highly mobile design. A high-profile fit provides maximum upper-body coverage, while CCM's Amplified Mobility Design uses extensive segmentation and floating components to keep the pads moving naturally through every stride, hit, shot, and puck battle.
At the center of the protection package, an injected-molded sternum guard is reinforced with D3O Zero to absorb and disperse hard impacts away from the body. D3O Zero is also placed in key areas, including the AC joint, shoulder caps, and spine guard, giving players added confidence when blocking shots, taking a cross-check in front of the net, or absorbing contact along the boards. Exposed high-density and Zotefoams add another layer of lightweight protection throughout the torso.
The XR Pro is designed to stay light and comfortable deep into the third period. Exposed closed-cell foams help resist sweat and moisture absorption, while AER-TEC ventilation ports allow air to move through the pads and around the body. The AER-TEC Suspension System in the bicep guards further improves airflow, helping players stay cooler and more comfortable as the pace picks up.
A length-adjustable torso strap creates a secure wrap around the body, while removable and adjustable belly and lower-back pads make it easier to dial in the fit with hockey pants. FlexMotion shoulder caps improve freedom of movement for stickhandling and shooting, and length-adjustable bicep guards help seal the gap between the shoulder pads and elbow pads. Reinforced kidney coverage rounds out the design for players who regularly battle for position in the crease and grind for loose pucks below the dot.

Sizing Chart
| GENERAL SHOULDER PAD SIZING GUIDELINES | |
|---|---|
| Measure the circumference of your chest roughly 1" below the armpit using a soft measuring tape, string, or shoelace. Correspond this measurement to the sizing chart and cross-reference your height. Personal preference may come into consideration in case there is an overlap between two shoulder pad sizes. For more coverage, go with the larger size. Choose the smaller size for a lower-profile fit and better responsiveness. |
