Overview
The CCM Tacks 70 Youth Helmet Combo is the perfect starter helmet for young hockey players. Not only does it combine immediate comfort and trustworthy protection, but it even comes with a height-adjustable cage that allows the helmet to grow with the player!
Unlike traditional helmets that have fixed J-Clips and Top-Clips, these are adjustable on the CCM Tacks 70 so that parents can ensure a proper fit between the face and cage. In years past, the solution would be to buy a larger cage or even a larger helmet even if the helmet itself wasn't the ideal fit. Now, it's all done in one with a proper fit.
Inside of the helmet, CCM used dual-layer foam with the softer foam wrapping the head with the denser foam attached to the plastic shell. This allows for an incredible fit regardless of personal head shape since the soft topping contours like a pillow while the dense base foam manages the impacts for excellent protection.
