Overview
The CCM XS Replacement Tongues allow players to fine-tune their fit and protection needs! By offering tongues with three different thickness levels, you can now increase, reduce or maintain the internal volume based on your choice. Each purchase comes with a full set that includes a left and right tongue and easily snaps into the XS Tongue System on compatible skates.
For players looking for extra protection, both the Regular and the Extra tongues come with D3O Smart Foam that absorbs impact energy incredibly better than traditional materials. The Regular option provides 20% more protection than the stock Metatomic tongue and due to the increased thickness on the Extra option, it offers 25% more protection!

Nicer than the originalThe tongue started to tear on my AS-Vs so I needed a replacement. I went with the regular, it is definitely thicker than original and adds a little volume but the material and padding is much nicer and offers more protection. Actually took a skate or two to break in but I'm really happy with these.
