The high-end ADPT memory foam ankle pads make the 88K fit and feel like a dream even before they are baked, while the comfort edge collar wraps alleviate ankle irritation that stiffer boots tend to cause.
CCM then went on to ensure players could get the stiffness and support more competitive hockey requires. The RocketFrame Composite Boot constructed with MetaFrame Technology accomplishes this while also improving the fit with its streamlined ergonomic shape and design. Similarly, the asymmetrical toe cap improves the foot-to-ice connection by removing unnecessary internal volume.

Awesome SkatesI bought them as an upgrade to my Tacks AS560s. I am playing more and more and needed more stiffness and protection. After having them baked at a local pro shop, they have not disappointed. The heel is snug and my feet don't feel like they are being crushed.

Good but not for meI skated in these two times. They felt pretty solid. They were light and performed well. The biggest issue is fit. I have accessory naviculars on my feet, meaning that a small piece of bone juts out just above my arch. The problem with the CCMs is that they do not give you any room there, so the bone rubs against the boot way too much. By the end of a skate, I could barely put any pressure on my feet. I tried baking them and punching them out. Neither worked. I tried putting two insoles into the boot in order to raise my naviculars to the wider part. That helped, but the stacked insoles made the front part of my foot rub against the toe box where it attaches to the boot. In the end I gave up and returned them. They tell you that these skates are heat moldable and will conform to your foot. In my experience, there is not enough molding. At the end of the day, if your foot fits the CCM mold, go ahead and get these. If your foot doesn't fit the CCM mold, I would stay away since baking and punching will only do so much.

Great skatesI’ve had about 20 skates on these and they took about 8 sessions to break in. They feel great and provide enough stiffness for my abilities. Glad to get a pair before they're all gone.
These are GreatMy first pair of new skates in about 10 years for beer league. They are cheaper than the ones I had playing travel hockey as a kid but just as comfortable and the weigh less. These things are great for my needs. 100% would recommend them.
