A partnership between two titans of their respective industries that resulted in Bont JESA Ceramic Bearings, which are easily some of the very best skate bearings in the world. Using JESA's renowned manufacturing, Bont created a ceramic bearing that is lighter, faster, and longer lasting than steel ball bearings. Precisely round ceramic balls dramatically cut down on friction and drag, so they produce far less resistance and heat, which means they take less effort to spin up and even less effort to maintain speed. The balls are evenly distributed by a lightweight plastic cage to keep loads balanced and the bearings aligned, something that is critical in a skate bearing, where lateral loads cause distortion that can slow or even seize a bearing's ability to spin. The high-grade steel races are double polished - in both directions - which is an extra step taken to maximize speed and efficiency.
