Cut Protection Level

This is the general level of protection against cuts.
- Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
- Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
- Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

The Bont Electronic Bearing Cleaner is the easiest way to thoroughly clean your skate bearings. Simply attach any 8mm bearing (688 or 608), dip it in your choice of cleaning solution, and press the red button! After about 20 seconds the cleaner will have spun out dirt, oil, and even mild rust.

Comments: I had a left over gift card after last Christmas, and decided to take the plunge on the Bont Bearing Cleaner. Seems like a lot of money for something that only cleans one bearing at a time. It is worth it. I used to use a DIY contraption made out of a threaded dowel, some bolts, and a Gatorade bottle. Worked well, but took a couple of days to get the bearings clean. With the Bont Cleaner, I can with through a whole set of bearings in an hour. It really gets the crud out of the bearings. My beat up rain bearings and it got all the crud out of them. You can tell those bearings have been through the ringer with the rain, but they roll much better than they used to. I wasn't able to get them any cleaner before. Regular use on a new pair of bearings with this cleaner will likely make the bearings last a long time. Worth it just for that.
