The Bladerunner Igniter XT Women's Recreational Ice Skates are perfect for the recreational skater. Unlike hockey or figure skates, these require no break-in period to feel comfortable. The immediate comfort translates to immediate fun out on the ice.

The Igniter XT provides ample lateral support, forward flex, and performance suitable for all skill levels. The fit feels similar to an inline skate. Thinsulate is used in the padded velvet lining, along with synthetic fur and padded footbeds to keep feet cushioned and warm. The skates come with a 'factory sharpened edge' that may seem sharp, but it is recommended to sharpen new skates before their first use for optimal performance at the rink or pond. Stainless steel figure blades with toe picks are used. They hold their edge longer, prevent rusting, and deliver consistent performance with minimal maintenance.

Sizing Chart

GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates.
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. How to Try on Inline Skates for Fit.
GENERAL SIZING GUIDELINES: Ordering US shoe sizes works for most. Add .5cm to the measurement for extra room at the toe or if wider feet.
