Not like the old styleNot a knock on IW. They are great and you should absolutely buy from them. Great customer service, shipping pricing and selection. As for these pants.... They are ok. I guess. They seem to work as well as any other inline pant out there. But not true to their heritage. I recently had to replace two pairs from the late ninetys. Yes literally lasted 20+ years. These are cheap and thin. Sound like plastic tbh. I'll be lucky to get six months. The waist straps are a weird hip only where you are left with these tassels hanging at your sides. Super tight in the crotch and shins. How many deep stretches do these pants have in them? That's anyone's guess.

Thank you very much for commenting on our Playa Pants. You are 100% correct that these pants are completely different than the one's you are referencing from literally 20 years ago. Those pants were made from ballistic nylon with a ballistic cordura knee patch and they were in fact durable, but very stiff with literally no give with an elastic crotch. These pants, although of different materials, are as strong and durable, we have sold thousands of them with literally no issues at all. Although different, the pants still have the Black Biscuit Standard of Quality and Workmanship, and we stand behind our product 100%. Since this review as back in September 2022, we would say that the pants have held up and that you are happy with them despite them being different than our pants 20 years ago.
