Zero protection on the sides of kneeThere is literally no protection on either side of the knee where the calf pad piece meets the knee cap pad. The area of your knee right where it bends is unprotected on both the inside and the outside in the knee. The positive is that they are really light weight and provide some protection from shots directly from the front.

Comments: Love it! Great mobility and I like that the calf pads are detachable. It's a slimmer shin guard too, so it doesn't fill out the bottom of my referee pants.

Comments: The grey "sock" on the back is terribly uncomfortable. It's tight (I'm a small 150lb guy) and the elastic pinches right down into the back of your knee.
