Overview
The Antik Jet Carbon Skates are back and they are beautiful! They have a fresh new look with clean cool graphics and a back finger loop pull tab. These skates are made for the track and elite skaters looking to perform their best with an exceptional package. They have a carbon fiber base that wraps into the heel and outsole making them extremely responsive, and strong, while still being lightweight. The boots are fully heat-moldable for an incredibly personalized fit.
Down below, the Powerdyne Arius plate is unique in its appearance with an anodized platinum gold finish on the 6061 heat-treated aircraft aluminum. It also feels unique with its one-of-a-kind action, where split butterfly cushions and a 45-degree progressive lateral movement that makes you feel agile yet fully in control with fluid movement. The Jet Carbon Skates come with legendary Radar Halo wheels that have Moto Deluxe bearings inside for a smooth roll. And it wouldn't be an Antik skate without the signature Gumball Original toe stop out in front!

Fits like a gloveI really like the mobility of the plates. I heat molded the skates before I used them and aside from the fact that one of my feet is bigger than the other one they fit very well. I changed out the wheels and toe stops, but so far I am loving this set up. I had chayas for about a year which were super uncomfortable. I have always been a Reidell skater, but I'm really liking these. The only complaint is the toe seems to have started to get super scuffed up after only a few weeks of use. I'm afraid of future wear and tear.
Serious skatesI’m a derby player (Jammer) coming from RD Elite Legacy skates I picked up June 2023, they were great in the beginning but little quality issues made me very disappointed in them. Been shopping for a skate upgrade for a while, was looking at AR2 as a derby bestie has a pair and they absolutely love them. I ran across these as they were recently added to the website here while looking at AR2’s. So after a lot of research i decided to pull the trigger.
Let me say HUGE upgrade in every aspect with these skates. The boot quality is fantastic, despite being heat moldable I didn’t need it. I have very wide feet I typically wear a size 10 shoe to accommodate my wide feet. I got the size 9 pair after using the Antek chart, my foot width is 4 1/4”, they fit perfectly. Nice and snug but doesn’t destroy my foot, make them feel cramped or rubbing. The carbon fiber reinforcement makes the whole boot super stable and just looks cool AF.
The Arus plates are bad a**, with the truck angles at 45 degrees I have so much more agility. I haven’t adjusted the trucks in anyway and have just been using them out of the box. I have more agility and maneuverability than my old skates would even be able to get close to. My skills have leveled as I feel I can trust the skate now so I have less fear of doing the stuff I want to do.
I swapped the wheels on the skates for the wheels I’m already using and the larger toe stops I use. But the stock wheels Radar Halo 91’s and the stock gumball toe stops are very nice will use as a backup pair.
So final verdict I’m absolutely in love with these skates where have they been all my life. The boots are super comfortable, sturdy AF, look amazing plus accommodating to my wider feet. The plates rock, more agility, lighter, no need for endless adjustments to dial them in….yes please. If you are on the fence just pull the trigger you won’t be disappointed I truly believe. I’m much more confident in these skates than I’ve ever been. Unless they came with actual jets on them they can’t get any cooler. But flying down the track dodging blockers like it’s nothing does make you feel like a fighter jet.
