Overview
The Alkali Cele I Glove brings a ton of value for the highly competitive player who is in need of truly high-end protection but at a performance-level price. Alkali's AMS foam lies underneath a layer of HD foam and plastic inserts for incredible impact protection against slashes, blocked shots, and battles along the boards. AMS foam is designed to absorb and disperse big, heavy impact energy away from the hand and into the surrounding foam.
AMS foam is also pliable when baked, so players can heat mold their gloves in the same process as baking their skates. Once baked, players can work and flex the foams to open up any tight spots or simply achieve a broken-in, customized fit. Speaking of fit, the Cele I features stretch lycra finger gussets and a two-piece thumb for added dexterity while a reinforced suede palm offers long-lasting comfort and durability.
Unique to the Cele I is the option for even more customization through the one-of-a-kind thumb patch, which has a Velcro attachment for easy replacement. Players initially receive Alkali's signature flag, but now teams or individuals can apply their own team logo or any other unique patch they want. Dimensions are 2.5"W x 1.5"L.
