Overview
The A&R USA Hockey Waxed Skate Laces are an officially licensed product of the USA Hockey organization. They have all the same great features of the regular laces such as a triple striker design, durable yarn construction, molded tips to prevent fraying and they come waxed with 100% pure liquid paraffin wax making it easier to tie your skates. A percentage of the proceeds from these laces helps to support USA Hockey all over the United States too!

Great laces in great colorsGreat texture is easy to grab and pull without giving yourself blisters. Stays nice and tight without having to hold on for dear life. 120in was too long for my 9.5 bauer 3s but perfect for my 9.5 alkali revel 2.
Way better than stock skate lacesBought several of these waxed laces. Good amount of waxed on 'em and very sturdy. Definitely better than the original laces. Very reasonably priced and affordable too! Loving them. My friends love them too. Highly recommended.
These laces keep your skates tightSolid waxed laces that help you get your skates extra tight and maintain that tightness while skating. They are durable and hold up well without tearing or fraying. They're nothing special, but that's not a bad thing, they're simply solid and reliable waxed laces that do what you expect them to do
Strong laces and lots of color optionsVery strong yet fashionable laces. I was getting tired of
using my unwaxed laces that came with my skates, nothing worse than having loose skates because the laces cant hold up too well. But these laces seem to do the trick. Also come in different colors which is a bonus.
Better than OEM lacesJust bought these and laced up my skates. These are much better than the laces that came with my skates. Great price too.
Great lacesWear a 7.5 and the 108 seemed a tad short. Other than that, they fit perfect! Great laces.

Over waxed?I prefer the Elite waxed laces. The A&R waxed laces are waxy to the point of being stiff and looking chalky.

Need to get used to waxed lacesI will have to spend some more time skating with waxed laces, they take a bit more getting used to than I expected and as i've only had the opportunity to skate in them once, mostly as a result of rainy weekends, I will need to complete a few more sessions before I come to a full yes or no conclusion for me?
My primary challenge was initially tightening them given the resistence the wax offers, I understand they are far less likely to slip or expand during a session, but they do give a bit while skating and I feel I wasn't able to tighten them as much as I wanted to initially.
Word to the wise, don't toss your old unwaxed laces until you're sure waxed is trully for you!
