187 Slim Knee Pads follow three years of development and slot into 187's line-up with an excellent balance of mid-weight protection and low-profile design. True to 187's deep-pocketed designs, the Slim Knee uses three layers of foam, including a horseshoe-shaped memory foam strip that helps keep the pad centered on your knee while skating and after falls. If you're after more protection than the Fly Knees may offer but don't like the bulk (or maybe the price tag) on the Pro models, the Slim Knee is right up your alley!
The pads are secure in place above the knee cap and the slide-on design hugs firmly with minimal bulk. The ballistic nylon with industrial stitching has a lightweight, fast-drying interior finish.
