The TPS Response R8 tapered hockey shaft is the top of the line shaft from TPS fitting low kick point blades. TPS has built this shaft completely out of carbon to offer a light feel. The R8 regular flex weighs in at about 300.5 grams.
TPS has used their dual flex zones on this shaft to load up plenty of energy for shots and passes.
The R8 also features a grip zone in the middle of the stick. This part of the stick features a light grip coating and textured side walls. The texture is similar to the texture on the corners of the Bauer one95 shaft, however this grip features the texture on the side walls instead of down the corners.
